The location is convenient for shopping/groceries but that is the only positive. On one occasion a man tried to push his way into my room. On another occasion a pimp and a hooker wanted access to my room and on a third occasion somebody actually opened my door - luckily I had the latch engaged. Very unsafe area due to the clientele who do drugs and stay up having extremely loud and disgustingly vile sex for multiple days on end. Don't bother trying to communicate with Jaime the manager or Michelle the recovering basket case as you will only be met with insinuations, raised voices/yelling and overall rudeness, abuse and argumentative communication skills akin to 13 year old girls. I have never experienced such poor customer service/relations in any business I have ever patronized - Sheriff deputies in the county jail are more hospitable than the female staff at this location. Over the course of many months the cleaning staff never ONCE cleaned my room. Jaime the manager told me I had to clean my own room before the cleaners could clean it (stupid power-games) The latch housing on the door was broken from the start and never got replaced. The latch would malfunction and on two different occasions I had to climb in through my own window as there was no staff available to help me get back in my room. Jaime the manager threatened to charge me for breaking the screen on the window which occured due to her negligence of the safety latch on the door malfunctioning repeatedly. I had a 5 gallon fish tank because I was told that ESA is 'pet friendly' but that is a lie. ESA is NOT pet friendly. Jaime forced me to give up my fish and my aquarium under threat of eviction - it broke my heart to have to give up my fish and aquarium. Meanwhile dogs and cats are free to urinate and defecate all over the beds and carpets - But I couldnt have a Betta in a tiny aquarium. Management and staff at this location have psychological and emotional issues that revolve around power, control, and abuse of clientele/guests. After being threatened multiple times and treated like an abused foster child by Jaime the manager and Michelle the walking trainwreck I decided to take my money elsewhere. I would suggest you pass on ESA Santa Rosa South (and North) and spend your money elsewhere at an establishment that actually appreciates and respects their guests and clientele. The walls, floors and ceiling are INCREDIBLY THIN so you can hear conversations and physically feel people having sex in the rooms around yours.…
I'd left a review on another site and actually ran out of space to finish it off with the most verbally abusive employee I've ever come across. "Michelle"! Long story short everything went wrong on this stay! First the heater/AC unit didn't work. The evening gal was very helpful and pleasant. She came and did her best, got it working for about 5 minutes. I gave up on it, I was to tired. My room was in the boonies when I asked for something close. At check in the gal didn't instruct me to "lift" the door know up to open. So I had to haul all my belongings back to the desk!🤦♀️ then back to the room. Which brings me to the next day: I went to take a bath (an hour) before check out. The tub plug was completely non existent! Well so much for a bath. OK let's brush the fangs...the sink starts backing up with all this dirty nasty water? Oh that explains the noisy plumbing?🤷♀️ Which brings me to "Michelle"! I come to the desk and ask if she was the manager? No, but I can help you! I start to go over the list, first thing she asks: did you notify the staff? Well yes with the heater I did,..and her deminer immediately charged! She was mad, mad at me? Confused by this? I asked her: why are you angry with me? For she didn't even hear me out seeing that the tub, and sink issues had JUST HAPPENED! I wasn't about to call the staff when I'm walking out the door? She then snaps at me: I was getting irritated with the fact the staff didn't follow through. Snapping, snarling..literally!😳 I took two steps back raised my hands ✋ I'm not going there with you lady!! This woman is pissed!! As I walk out she then screaming at me: YOUR F**KING psycho LADY!! YEAH SHE ACTUALLY SAID THAT! What I think this chick needs to do is stop using meth! This woman is a lose cannon! I then tried calling corporate. No answer? If someone from corporate would kindly reach out to me, for Id like a complete refund! This behavior is something she seems to feel is okay? I'll also be taking the time to reach out yo the CEO and upper management on this matter!…
Where to start... Floors were filthy. My sister's room had vomit on the floor. Ours had boogers on the wall. Nicked paint needed touchups. Towels were bad. Light bulb was missing in one room, and the lamp was broken in the other. Shower bar was falling off the wall. Iron was missing in one room, the ironing board was missing in the other. Bath sinks were dirty. We brought this all to the attention of the person at registration and we got one iron. No sanitizing, no light bulbs, and no "grab and go" breakfast as advertised. Who owns this hotel? Are you listening?
I arrived for a month-long stay April 2020. This was the early time of the State Lockdown. So things were strange. The staff was helpful as they could be, although rattled and distracted by all of the new safety protocols. Housekeeping allowed once a week, which was followed by 2 weeks unless absolutely necessary (added fee). The rooms are quite comfortable, be sure to ask for the kitchen items - pots, pans, etc. all of which are so-so. Long corridors between room and elevators and exits, so those with walking problems should take note. Pet friendly also. Sandra at front desk is helpful. Very convenient to medical centers.
If I could give 0 stars to this establishment, I would. I love to travel and have experienced many different lodging environments including multiple stays in 3rd world countries. I am 64 years old, have been traveling for all of my adult years and ESA in Santa Rosa was my worst hotel experience ever. They screwed up our reservations, i.e., gave away our room, and one woman, Maria, blamed it on us and proceeded to be verbally abusive. And that was the best of our experience at ESA that day. I have never given a bad review to any hotel on any social media website, please check my other hotel reviews. From the managing director to desk service, this place is, at best, both awful and incompetent. Also, when we called corporate about our experience, customer service was abusive to both my partner and myself and we had made two different phone calls. I will never stay at any ESA again, I'd rather sleep in my car.…
Sharon the manager is excellent at her job she's a great people person and if you need anything she handles it asap she makes me feel right at home and welcome . This is a very busy place and she is on top of it all.🤗
The company messed up or reservation. Instead of apologizing, the front desk was incredibly rude. One woman was so mean spirited, even when she said we couldn't get our money back, knowing the town was sold out, said we could rent the room at 3x what we already paid. When we finally did get to a room, we were desperate, for an "extended stay" there was one tiny hand towel for two people. No coffee maker. Dirty. This place is trash. I've used Extended Stay in the past, especially when I went to Colorado. When we reported it to customer service, customer service was rude. Horrible Horrible Horrile Horrible. I given hundreds of reviews on Trip Advisor, and I've never written anything like this. Obviously, reading the reviews, this is actually typical. I would make any bet that the few great reviews are fake.…
This place is FILTHY! When I pulled the covers back on the bed it was full of body hair and dirt,It looked like the didn't even change the sheets from the last guest.Went to the front desk and got a different room and guess what? Same thing with the bed.Went to the office a third time and got attitude from the attendant.Third room 2 out of 5 lamps worked the old cfl bulbs were hanging half out of them but at least the bed seemed clean. When I took a shower the towel I had laid on the floor became totally gross because the bathroom floor was disgusting.I was here working and my employer prepaid for the room or I would have left after that. Also at 1 am the tweakers a couple of rooms down started having a massive argument.Do yourself a favor stay at another place.I have stayed at places that charge hajf of what this place cost and although they wern't great they were clean.…
$140 a night was just wrong, but due to the fires that wiped out a lot of houses, the market would bear these prices. The rooms were the minimum to have for "extended stay". Near the freeway, I cannot recommend in good faith
The ladies in the office ROCK! Great awesome customer service . Jamie and marie great team .. Enjoyed my stay . Room was comfy love the kitchen part ... pet friendly didn't like I had to pay $25.00 .. ...
