I had lived in the area for several years and heard about the Flamingo Resort. I finally stayed at the hotel with a friend after moving away, and I'm so glad I did. Check-in was seamless, the room was cozy and clean, and there was plenty of space for my things. A highlight of our stay was dining at the on-site Lazeaway restaurant. Its unique mid-century modern decor created a vibrant yet intimate ambiance that complemented the delicious food. In fact, we had dinner with friends who were staying at another hotel, and they enjoyed the hotel so much, they will stay here next time they visit. The staff was friendly and professional, and we really enjoyed Shannon’s service with her recommendations and conversation. During our short time at the Flamingo Resort, the experience left us wanting more. Its blend of comfort, style, delectable cuisine, and unparalleled hospitality has left an indelible impression. We loved staying at The Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa. We took advantage of a Holiday special pricing. The staff was attentive and friendly. The room we stayed in had a great retro vibe down to the water kettle for heating the water for the supplied coffee. I was happy to see that the coffee was local and had an eco friendly filter. The grounds and bar was decorated for Christmas and had an extrenely festive feel. We loved it.

Have stayed at the Flamingo many times in the past while visiting family in the area. Love the pool, room decor & overall design of the hotel. This time there were a couple problems with our stay. - This is a dog friendly hotel, which is great, but on the way out to the hot tub in the evening I stepped in a huge pile of dog waste on the lawn. Not fun. The next morning, it was still there. If you're going to allow dogs in your pool area, I think you need to spend the energy to keep it clean for all guests. - The restaurant was short staffed at breakfast time. We ordered breakfast for our family, and the server unfortunately forgot to send it to the kitchen. It wasn't until 20-30 minutes later, when our nearby tables had received their food, that we asked the staff & they realized the error. - It is an older property- really nicely refurbished a few years back, but still showing its age. Our room had an unrepaired hole in a door & the sofa bed mattress badly needed to be replaced. I still think this is a fine place to stay out of comvenience when visiting family in the North Bay, especially in the summer months to use the pool. But the price was steep for our stay, and the service + condition of the property doesn't match the "luxury" language they use on their website. So come in with appropriate expectations.…

Thank you for your feedback. While we are dog friendly, we do have designated pet release areas and policies in place to make sure that the experience is enjoyable and clean for all guest. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area and that is clearly gone over at check-in as well as on the pet policy form. I am sorry to hear your experience at the restaurant was less than enjoyable, I will be sure to pass it on to our Food and Beverage team so they can address this issue. As for your room, we do ask that any issues are brought to the attention of our Guest Service agents so that we have the opportunity to resolve these problems as they come up. We hope to be able to welcome you back soon for an improved experience at both the hotel and restaurant.

My husband was having surgery at Memorial Hospital.so we spent the night beforehand at the Flamingo. They gave us a 4 am wake up call. It was great being so near the hospital. Our only suggestion for improvement is that being seniors we would have appreciated having a grab bar in the shower.

Christmas in the tropics at this classic 50s hotel although stairwells and corridoors are substandard in their size the hotel is well maintained, we enjoyed the retro celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday, dining by the pool enjoying the christmas decorations.

Rooms are nice. Only issue with the stay was that staffing seemed short & restaurant experience underwhelming. Impossible to get thru to the front desk on the phone, so one has to wait in line.. At 10pm my wife's room key and towel was taken by another guest by mistake at the hot tub. No one esk to help. She had to wait at the front desk dripping wet for at least 10 minutes before help came.

should not call resort when just like motel cant check in until 4:01(dont ever think able to check in at 3:59) restaurant only have couple course, pool super dirty, room too small and way diffrent then online picture

Nice property (beautiful, well decorated, nice staff). Issues with room services (called 3 times to get an extra pillow and blanket, when someone showed up finally, we were in bed and they just let themselves into our room, even though I was shouting "I'm coming!"...very inappropriate.... and restaurant menu (a little too kimchi- and sesame-heavy for me... would appreciate mixing in some more western comfort food. I love sesame but the scallion pancakes were way too sesame-flavored... all oil and not much other flavor). ... waiters were super friendly, though.

Stayed two nights for a business trip. The hotel was clean, and staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate dinner at the restaurant one night and it was a very nice dining experience. Definitely recommend.
