The Flamingo Resort is a mid-century marvel in The Valley of the Moon. The buildings, rendered with natural materials and iconic angular silhouettes, are the work of master architect Homer A. Rissman. Set on a 10-acre campus in Santa Rosa, it is an incomparable property for both its city access and sense of complete retreat. It’s a place where each guest can find their flow, whether they are staying with us for business or pleasure. The Flamingo’s lively social centerpiece, the swimming pool, invites guests to take a plunge or sunbathe. And it serves as a launchpad to our other offerings — Wild Bird, the lounge and Montecito Health Club & Spa. Our unique location is just one hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge and in the heart of the wine country. There are more than 80 wineries within a 20 mile radius of our property. Wellbeing A place to relax, release and rejuvenate, The Flamingo’s beautiful landscaped grounds invite you to center yourself through earthing, yoga and meditation practices. Special Events Try everything once — from ice baths to sound healing and wine and beer tastings to dive-in pool parties, our wide range of programming continues to evolve. Services & Amenities 170 Guest Rooms Wild Bird Poolside Dining & Tiki Bar The Lounge Heated Pool Hot Tub Lap Pool Montecito Health Club & Spa Fitness & Tennis Yoga & Indoor Cycling Trail Guide Onsite Scavenger Hunt for Children Text Concierge Lobby-less Check-in Gatherings The Flaming Resort has 1500 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, including 13 meeting rooms, fit for any and all festivities, for business or pleasure. Weddings Get married in The Valley of the Moon. We offer end-to-end wedding planning services including: the welcome cocktail party, rehearsal dinner, nuptials, reception, guest accommodations and farewell brunch. We also specialize in all the gatherings leading up to the big day from engagements and bridal showers to bachelor and bachelorette party weekends. *May want to add a sentence here about all-inclusive wedding packages and venue buy-out option. Wild Bird Poolside Dining & Tiki Bar Wild Bird is what happens when you let uninhibited flavor fly the coop. We serve locally sourced, responsibly indulgent and clucking delicious Cal Pacific comfort fare. Chefs Annie and Sal, the rulers of the roost, make our dredge with kaffir lime and Korean chili flakes to give our crispy, organic fried chicken a smokey tang. Our sandwich flock includes the signature Wild Bird, the plant-based Veggie Bird, and the grilled and lettuce-wrapped, Beach Bird. Pair them with our frozen cocktails or our Thai Basil Guava Rooibos Iced Tea. We’re open for poolside dining, room service, catering, take-out and delivery. Montecito Health Club & Spa This 14,000 square foot facility is where guests and members can work up a sweat cycling, strength training or gliding down the lane of our 25-meter lap pool. A full calendar of exercise classes and childcare services are provided. Unwind with a sauna, steam and soak at the spa. We offer traditional massage, facial and nail services along with reflexology, reiki and astrology and specialize in health and injury prevention modalities for athletes of all abilities.

We arrived as weary travelers late at night and Ray at the front desk was awesome. He listened to my room request but as I babbled on while he was checking us in, he reassigned us to a different room knowing it was what we wanted but didn't know to ask for! I didn't know they had spacious rooms with balconies. We over-looked the Olympic size pool, through mature trees which made it feel very private. I just love this property. They have been here for a very long time and are currently undergoing a $20M renovation. I can't wait to escape here again.

Awesome area, friendly staff great shopping! Nice hotel. Beautiful grounds. The only negative is pool is being worked on and they forgot towels in my room. Other than that everything was up to expectations.

I needed a staycation with a pool to get away for my birthday and already want to leave and go home. Check in is disorganized and takes forever. Hand sanitizer is right there but it's empty. Property is under construction. Property is dirty - the stairs have food and dirty utensils smeared in the carpet and the staff is very rude. I was told over the phone the pool was completely open and it's not - there's lanes and it closes twice a day for kid pool classes. Do your self a favor and spend the money at a nicer property. Will never come back.

We understand the absolute importance of maintaining a clean hotel and how an entire trip can be altered off of a first impression. We never want our guests to feel that the hotel has marginalized their safety by neglecting or overlooking cleaning details. We currently have protocols in place where our staff is diligently signing off on routine maintenance of all of our sanitizer dispensers and we have increased the number of dispensers at every entrance and exit breezeway throughout the hotel. We are very sorry for any oversight on behalf of the hotel that was anything less than what our guests deserve and what we pride ourselves on. We try to keep the hours of our pool availability posted on both our website and with the welcome media that we give to all of our incoming guests. Unfortunately the restrictions of Covid will not allow us to operate our pool to all of our guests without restrictions, such as the temporary use of lanes to separate households or occupants. That is a safety protocol, and only exists for the sole purpose of limiting exposure and keeping our guests safe. We want you to know that we appreciate your feedback and this response has been shared with both our guest service agents, as well as our housekeepers. Our goal everyday right now is to focus on cleanliness, especially in a time where it matters the most. We are sorry that you had to experience such difficulties during your most recent stay. If you would like to reach out to us, we would be very interested in speaking more with you about your stay, so that we may be better equipped to to keep situations like this from ever occurring on our property. Thank you again. -Raymond Flamingo Front Desk-

What a disappointment of Hotel. The smell of Marihuana was horrible. Customer service even worst. One of the employee's name is Vicky, and she even screams at us very very bad service and very disorganized. Super expense for the price. Our family never will go back to the place.

Just returned from a stay at the Flamingo Hotel. (We visit Santa Rosa annually and had heard great things about the Hotel.) Despite the hotel web site stating that it is extra clean and taking COVID precautions, our room had stains on the upholstery, carpets and drapes, and the air ventilation panel had cobwebs and dust that blew with the air conditioning. We saw a great deal of unusual behaviour and activity, from people handing each other wads of cash in the courtyard/pool area to people leaving garbage in the hall, to people cruising the parking lot or sitting on their tailgates drinking beer, to people mistakenly (but persistently) trying to come into our room at 3:30 in the morning, which was kind of scary. Not many visitors wore masks in the hallways. Homeless people were living in cars and dealing drugs in nearby parking lots and street. IT FELT VERY UNSAFE AND UNCLEAN.
