I found this hotel on Booking.com and it was a great find. The hotel was nicely situated and we stayed in the courtyard. The room was beautiful, clean, and well appointed. It was nicely situated near restaurants. The price was good too. Would definitely stay there again.

La Rose is an older, historical building that reflects the era built with wallpaper and lacy curtains. It’s very cute and homey. Across the street is a modern hotel belonging to the same property but looking like decades apart! We’ve stayed in both parts and enjoyed our stay both times. It’s very clean, comfortable and spacious. Our view out our lacy curtains was of a park that seemed to be a gathering spot for homelessness. Unfortunately, this seems to becoming the norm in California. We walked all over and enjoyed the quaint city and we were never bothered or approached by anyone. I would hesitate to walk alone at night though.

Enjoyed a 2-night stay at Hotel La Rose in Santa Rosa, CA. Charming Victorian room with very comfortable bed. The whole building was beautifully decorated with antiques. Very nice breakfast was included, as was parking. Fairly close drive to wineries, Bodega Bay and Redwoods. We really enjoyed our stay! The only thing that would have made the room better would have been a small refrigerator in the room. Not a deal breaker though.

Lovely historic hotel loaded with charm, but a big safety risk. Please look at the location, you will find a load of transient people, train station literally across the street and a homeless shelter just around the corner. Sure wish I read this review before I stayed there. I parked in the hotel’s lot and thief(s) broke into my car by shattering the drivers side back window, trashed the interior and got with goodies away before I could hunt them down. Front desk was NO help, NO video, NO calls back - buyers please beware!!!

Quiet room. Comfortable bed. Horrible breakfast but great cafe nearby. The hotel is easy to get to. Right off the 101. Deserving of its high rating. Breakfast selections were very limited and not commensurate with quality of hotel.
