The Hotel La Rose was perfectly located for our several days of touring the nearby wineries. They had a private parking area a block away, and a number of restaurants were within easy walking distance. The historic half of the hotel (which is where we stayed) had character, while the carriage house across the street was newer construction. We reserved early to get a better choice of rooms. Their breakfast was nothing special but adequate. All in all, it was a comfortable, clean, secure and very nice accommodation.

We loved our large clean period-room. Quiet. Strong shower with tub. Hotel staff knowledgeable, accommodating and beyond helpful. Good selection of nearby restaurants. Wi-Fi OK but could be better. Dedicated off-street hotel parking. Just the best.

Wanted to be in the center of Santa Rosa and booked two rooms for a night in December 2019. I suddenly needed second nights (San Francisco completely booked up), and the staff arranged the second night beautifully although quite full as well. They even managed for us to retain the same rooms. The hotel was a Christmas delight. We will certainly return.

Was on the carriage house side of the hotel, which is more modern. The room is large and clean, but there are no curtains on the single window, and due to how the lighting was placed outside there was always light in the room. The other problem, which seemed limited to the room I was staying in, was there was almost no water pressure. The breakfast was small, without much hot food, but fine for a free breakfast. Overall it was fine, and nice for the price.

My husband and I had tickets for the 6th Street Playhouse and wanted to stay within a short walk to the theater. Hotel La Rosa has the perfect location. We booked a Classic room in the carriage house section. The room was huge with a king size bed and beautiful decor. Everything was spotless. The bathroom was large and luxurious also. We have stayed in many high end hotels and this competes with any of them. The receptionist was very helpful. When we checked in early in the afternoon there was not a Classic King ready for us but we left for awhile and she reserved the next one for us. The carriage house rooms all open onto a beautiful courtyard and that section is gated and quiet. Breakfast is included in the really reasonable rate. Many restaurants are within a block or two and I had made dinner reservations at Lacoccos which was wonderful. It was a perfect evening and from now on we will not stay anywhere else when coming to Santa Rosa
