We had to cancel our destination wedding due to the COVID crisis. While trying to stomach losing deposits left and right, we were so happy we booked with The Sandman. Despite being a non-refundable reservation, they accommodated us and refunded the full amount of our stay due to the difficult circumstances! Thank you so much to the management at The Sandman!!! We will be sure to stay with you on our anniversary trip!
I was completely surprised by my experience at the Sandman Hotel in Santa Rosa! Just off of the 101, centrally located and a very cool 1950s Palm Springs vibe. Laid back, fun, hip and really great pool/pool bar area! I am definitely going to make it back for their summer Friday night adventures with the band, drinks and food trucks! The staff was very kind and knowledgable, the room was clean - great value and very fun!
I've stayed here once before a few years ago. So when I was forced to make a road trip during the COVID-19 closure, I book a night at the Sandman through Expedia. We checked in the early afternoon, before stated check-in time but they had a room promptly available. The room was very clean, large and the beds were comfortable. The water was hot as needed and the television worked fine. I will stay here anytime I'm alying over in Santa Rosa.
Life can be challenging in the best of times, but add to it the impact of COVID19, and it can make your knees buckle. We were checking our credit card balance, saw a charge from The Sandman, and realized that we had not canceled our hotel reservations at the same time we had canceled our airline tickets. Our mistake. I thought I would call to see if we might get a discount towards a future stay, but Adrian took it one step further - the charges will be removed from our credit card! Thank you so much and looking forward to when we will be able to stay with you!
My friend and I were planning on staying at the Sandman for a wedding in Calistoga this next month. With everything going on with COVID-19, the soon to be wedded couple had to postpone their wedding. My friend and I felt it was best for our health to avoid any sort of travelling over the next few months, especially since there has been no indication of this virus slowing down. I had originally booked a non-refundable room, and reached out to the Sandman team to see if there was anything they can do during these unprecedented times to help us out. Speceial shout out to Adrian Vasquez for setting policy aside and coming to our aid quickly by cancelling and refunding our room. These are tough times for everyone (even I'm sure for the hotel), so I truly appreciate Adrian and the Sandman team going out of their way to help us out. This goes to show this is a team not here for profit, but for US, the consumer and they genuinely have our best interest in mind. Whenever the wedding does get rescheduled I 100% will try to stay at this hotel! Highly recommend this fine establishment!…
