We have stayed here on three separate nights and the customer service is outstanding . On the last trip I accidentally left my diamond sapphire ring in the room when I called Cheryl and Eric were right on it and went to the room and found my ring. Honesty goes along way with me and for this reason alone we...

Since this past weekend was wine country event time we felt lucky to get a Saturday night stay. It's right near Trader Joe's, behind Carrows Restaurant (like a Dennys), Shell & Hwy 101. AAA rate ended up $123 w/tax; pretty hard to beat. Pluses: clean room, new (basic) bed and furnishings. Nice shower, lotion & shampoo/conditioner/shower gel provided. Fridge, micro...

We've stayed at Sandman for years and found it a bit pricey, but pleasant enough. This is the first stay since the remodel began. In fairness, I'm sure there are travelers who will find the finished project attractive. Different strokes for different folks. The beds are still good and the location convenient to attractions on the north side of Santa...

This is an overpriced version of Motel 6. The parking lot is right in front of the rooms, so the late night people coming in and out will definitely wake you up if you are a light sleeper. We live in the bay area. My birthday was on Friday so we decided to stay out on Saturday night in Santa...

We're big believers in focusing on what's really important, and in the case of hotel stays it's all about a good night's sleep, plenty of hot water (plus a good, energetic shower) and cleanliness. The Sandman in Santa Rosa, CA, is in the process of renovation, so the room decor is still a bit tired, the colors a bit dreary,...

They are remodeling but the bedding and towels were plush and comfy. They still need to fix sometimes - under the bed-stand for example is an orange extension cord that they say will soon be gone. The fridge is a little tippy and could fall on a child if parents were not attentive. Breakfast was good. Pool looks like it...

In the city of Santa Rosa, the Sandman is a new incarnation of a roadside inn that brings a warm and offbeat experience to weary travelers. Situated at the northernmost edge (nearly within shouting distance of Sonoma's wineries) the Sandman's muted colors, warm woods, and relaxed design will welcome you in.
