My wife and I stayed for our anniversary. Felt totally safe/clean during Covid. Perfect little getaway with a beautiful ocean view room. Relaxed by the pool, walked on the beach. Great dining and the breakfast at Fig was amazing! All the staff was wonderful and An Verbeeck went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect! Always! Highly recommend.
We stayed at this hotel for a weekend with our kids as we were celebrating various special dates for our family. We were able to get connecting bungalows which was nice. Upon arrival, the children's room was nicely set up with their names on the dresser - that was a nice personal touch. Throughout our stay, the staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Word to the wise, make sure to secure reservations at FIG if dining on the weekend. It is a MUST for dinner. The food was excellent and the service was great. My daughter spilled her hot chocolate one evening and without missing a beat, a new hot chocolate was provided. We had several meals at the restaurant during our stay and all the food was wonderful; but my favorite was the Maine Lobster Cobb.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The room was advertised as a suite with an ocean view. When we checked into our room all you could see were the tops of palm trees. We then asked to be moved to a higher floor and they stated there were no rooms available but that they could move us down the hallway to another suite. When we went into the new suite you could barely see the ocean between a gap in the palm trees. The suites are misrepresented as ocean view as an additional cost. Also we booked directly online with the hotel for their 3 night for the cost of 2 night offer which came to $1,429.83. When I checked out they stated that I would receive a itemized statement in my email which I never received, when I called the next day they stated it would take 48 hours to receive. After 48 hours I still did not receive the itemized billing statement. I then emailed them and asked to again receive my billing statement on 10/31/2020 and I have yet to receive it from them. The hotel was not even close to being fully booked and was somewhat like a ghost town. I will not return as they could have easily put us on a higher floor with the view that we paid for when we initially booked.…
My husband, our 3 month old and I stayed for two nights for his birthday in mid-October. The staff was helpful and as always fantastic. Rooms were immaculately clean, we stayed in the bungalows by the pool. We ate at the restaurant, food was delicious and the waitstaff super pleasant. We spent most of our time at the pool, it was perfect Southern California weather for a two day break from everyday life. I highly recommend coming here, they are taking everything very seriously and we felt safe and well taken care of.
The hotel did a fantastic job in terms of keeping things safe with COVID but not making you feel too restricted. The hotel staff was all very friendly and the food as always, terrific. Dinner at Fig was wonderful and my girlfriends and I had a memorable meal together. Our room had a beautiful view and was on a nice high floor. An Verbeeck always takes great care of me when I stay at the hotel and makes sure that things are perfect.
