We stayed here for a Mother/Daughter vacation. The hotel decor is a modern art deco style, very clean and comfortable. We stayed in the King Suite and it was very roomy. The valet staff and bell desk attendants were very fast and service oriented. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, close to the shopping of the 3rd... More

I stayed here on a business trip and was blown away by the lovely beach-front historic hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was delightful to have cocktails on the verandah. My suite was a lovely art deco style and the bed was extremely comfortable. Perhaps a non-ocean view room is better for Saturday night due to noise... More

You can't beat the location of this hotel. My wife and I visited the area for our anniversary and were greeted by a very polite and informative staff. We were easily able to get to great dining and entertainment on foot. The facility is quite old but the renovations have made it nice. The only complaint is the elevator is... More

I was looking forward to returning back to The Georgian as we had the best experience the 1st time we visited. The staff are still lovely like they were!! It's the room that I didn't enjoy and I don't mean that there was anything wrong with the room itself, it's the location of the room. When I booked, I requested... More

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our 9th anniversary. We didn't have reservations (we ditched our original hotel) and the staff were awesome. We got a great rate that I couldn't beat online. The location is great - we walked everywhere. We'd stay here again.

I choose the Georgian simply for the location. When we arrived they upgraded us to a suite no charge. One of the cleanest hotels I've been in. I have already thought about going back as soon as possible

I stayed in this hotel with my wife for a one night stay in Santa Monica, it was chosen based on tripadvisor reviews and is a older than the hotels we usually choose to stay in, however this was not a problem and the hotel lived up to our hopes. To get to this hotel we took a taxi from... More

Overall The Georgian is just average. Other than the partial ocean view room, the room service food, and the prompt, efficient housekeeping staff, I checked out feeling very underwhelmed for the money I spent. The beds are SUPER soft and the hotel is noisy both outside and inside. Also - their WIFI service sucks. Could barely get a signal on... More

Terrific location for exploring Santa Monica and the beach and pier and the rest of LA. Wonderful view. Terrific staff - polite and friendly Lovely room Hotel has a lovely character Relatively expensive, but worth the money and nothing is cheap in Santa Monica. The only downside is the traffic noise- book a high floor room.

Our stay at The Georgian hotel was fantastic. The hotel is located right next to the Santa monica beach. We stayed there two nights in a room with a king-sized. The room was very spacious with the exception of the bathroom, which was a bit small. The hotel was quiet at night and was ideal for us because we were... More

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
