Look forward to coming back very soon and frequently We are regular travelers to LA and have stayed at many different hotels in Weho and Santa Monica hotel and it’s location is our favorite place or all Look forward to being your regular customers
We enjoyed the location and using the bikes around town. Walk to 3rd Street promenade, Montana and Palisades Park. The room was spacious and had a lot of character. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. We walked to Sugarfish sushi which was very good. The 4$ coffee downstairs was not very hot but there was coffee in the rooms as well. We traveled for our anniversary.
The property is beautiful especially the grounds. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The property is located outside the hustle of the tourist areas but very walkable to the attractions, good restaurants and shopping.
The hotel’s lobby and eating area (only open for breakfast and lunch (no alcohol) are spectacular. You really are in a time warp. The hotel has a beautiful back patio and a magnificent front courtyard with a mini bocce court and a beautiful fountain. There are also tables. The elevator is reminiscent of the 20’s to 40’s, where a white-gloved operator ran the elevator car. Pali-House is no different, except there is no room for more than 2 people. Cozy. The outer door is about 8”in. thick. The inner door has a handle which you must move back to enter the elevator. Don’t try it with anything substantial. Our room was large with “eclectic” or strange furniture as the case be depending on one’s taste.there was a full kitchen with gas oven/range, large refrigerator, fully equipped with silverware, dishes, and pots and pans, a quaint breakfast table with with 2 chairs, open to the sleeping area. In this large room is a comfortable king bed, a Swedish modern armchair, a pin cushion hassock, a large desk made from a plank (like a door. Of course there was a flat-screen TV (a little on the small side but adequate). Through a door is a dressing area with vanity, a walk-in closet and a compact bathroom, but with a good shower over tub. One word of caution. The hotel will not work for someone whobis not completely mobile. Stairs to get up the elevator and the elevator at a landing was not quite level with the floors. Also there is only one valet on duty. Valet parking is $60/per day.…
Cute little piece of roaring 20’s history, quiet and charming, all within easy walking distance of the city. Check-in with creaking stairs - elevator a bit scary. Check-out desk staff was a bit rude. Average.
I got to stay in a studio residence for two years and had a really lovely experience. I had to work remotely and there were a couple of nice spaces with wifi (in the room and outside of it) that I could use to work. The outside space internet went in and out but in my room which was very spacious it was solid. Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend. It’s a little more expensive then I usually pay for a hotel but all the hotels in the area were around the same price and I mean I got a full kitchen with my stay so I think I got a great value!
If you are trying to find a hotel in LA that makes you feel at home, this is it! Amazing atmosphere and staff. Great location. Positives vibes all around. We are a family of 4 and all had the same impressions. Will definitely return soon.
Definitely coming back, loved your hotel! Beautiful, perfect location, super friendly and helpful staff, able to use the bikes easily. Very comfortable. Lovely space. Only comment is maybe a dinner menu! Otherwise 10/10 experience
I got married at St. Monica this past weekend and booked the one-bedroom residence for my now-husband to get ready in with his groomsmen, and Penthouse One for myself and my family (and for my bridesmaids to get ready in). This stay was an absolute highlight of the weekend, and I can't recommend enough how beautiful and unique the hotel is, how comfortable and luxurious we felt, and how it was worth every penny!
Great location in Santa Monica. The hotel is amazing, very charming, and its located in the heart of Santa Monica, close to all the sights and the beach. All the employees were very nice and helpful. Thank you.
