We stayed here and were on East Coast time when we arrived. On the weekends, we learned, it is a party atmosphere at night. Not good for someone trying to sleep. They could use more soundproof windows.
With that said, we enjoyed our stay. The...More

My husband and I both used the Loews ATM last week using different bank ATM cards. Within one hour today both cards got fraud alerts. We were both back in Washington DC area and the charges were made close to Santa Monica. over $1000.
A very special property over looking the ocean. Nice pool, restaurant and spa. We used the gym and found it had plenty of machines. Everyone went out of the way to help us enjoy our vacation. We are looking forward to coming back next year!

If you stay here you must get a view of the beach as the other rooms look onto fairly grim buildings. The pool is absolutely tiny and so shallow that it is hard to properly swim in. Breakfast is adequate but wont take the buffet...More
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller
coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
