I have stayed at this hotel several times, and have never been disappointed. The hotel offers rooms in the Historic portion of the Inn as well as the more modern Tower. I have stayed in both, and have enjoyed both the old and the new. While still maintaining its Historic aspects, the Inn offers all of the amenities one would...

My husband and I had the best night sleep ever. The vintage style is awesome. The beds are the very best. Our anniversary was complete. The Oceans are close and this is a hotel I recommend to anyone. Thank you for the kind staff and how clean the room was. Parking is close too.

I live in Santa Maria but I have stayed in both sections of the hotel, the older, which contains smaller rooms but comfortable beds, and the newer section with larger rooms, similar to modern hotels anywhere. The distinctiveness is in the wood-paneled lobby and hallways. Several small shops are present along one corridor, above which the modern section is sited....

We stayed here last weekend when we needed a halfway point up the coast to spend the night and all of our usual pit stops were booked because of the big wine festival in Paso Robles. While the inn is a little aged, we found the historic room we stayed in spacious and charming, with a beautiful balcony and view...

Santa Maria is one of those hidden charms that one stumbles upon, but needs to be approached with open eyes. The sprawling hotel has a new wing and an old one, with two very distinct characteristics. The more modern wing is situated over the commercial section of what appears to be a shopping mall in the middle of a high...

The staff is helpful and friendly. The restaurant staff even more so. The hotel, however, is old and worn out. Furnishings are dirty and worn. Dust abounds. The suite we were in was comfortable, large and very nice. Decor spans every decade of the Inn's existence -this can be eclectic or haphazard depending on your decorating definitions. A thorough and...

We love staying at the Inn. We have been there twice now and both times have stayed in the old section. We love the feel of that part of the Inn. Our only issue was stopping into the restaurant one evening for desert. We both ordered deserts but the one my wife chose was not available. Then the wine she...

It is always wonderful to hear our guests feedback, and their love of our Inn! Thank you for taking the time to share. We are sorry that your dessert in the restaurant did not go smoother, we will be looking into that so that we can make sure our guests are always fully taken care of.

The Santa Maria is still one of my favorite places to stay in this area. A lot of charm. My only regret is that we did not get to stay in the old section as I had requested. We arrived late and our room was given away. That was disappointing. But the Inn really is nice. Love the pool especially.

The hotel itself was very nice. Staff was nice and helpful. It was very close to our event and local restaurants. The pub had some great live entertinment. However our kids found someone's sexy barely there under garment under the bed when they went down to make sure we didnt leave anything behind. Guess not everyone does this.
