Stayed here for one night and enjoyed my stay. I paid $135 through a third party (Priceline) for a king bed - hot tub room. I felt like the rate I paid was a great deal! If I paid say holiday weekend rates, I'd probably grumble, but mid week, i am a very satisfied customer. The room was clean and well maintained. The bed and linens all nice. No problem with the room and It was spacious enough for one person. (Easily comfortable for two people). The staff were nice. The afternoon employee was very nice in particular. Otherwise, I didn't interact much with the staff. I chose not to have breakfast, though it is offered. The only downside is the hot tub took a long time to fill up. Probably a solid 20+ minutes. Didn't bother me, finished up writing some emails while the tub filled.…
Your items will be stolen guaranteed. I know the housekeepers probably are underpaid but dang someone just got a really expensive pair of headphones. Also the parking is terrible and the location is awful.
First the good: I asked for and was given an accessible room. I did not bring a wheelchair this trip so I can't say for sure that the doorways are the proper width but they appear to be wide enough. The HVAC worked very well and there was handicap parking right in front of the door to the room. The accessible shower was okay but the way the hand shower head was mounted made it extremely difficult to use. Now for the not so good. I arrived about 4PM on a Sunday and there were no rooms available (not cleaned yet!). When I came back a little after 6PM the lobby door was locked (potty break and they have failed to cross train someone to fill in which left a handicapped customer standing outside (no place to sit). They advertise breakfast but you can't eat it there! I was told "There is no dining inside!" which is not true. I had breakfast at the Silver Spur inside their dining room! The next evening I went to the lobby to get change for $5.00 so I could buy some soft drinks from their vending machines. "We don't carry any change." So it is not a BAD hotel but Comfort Inn has now gone to the very bottom of my list of places to stay. I have gotten absolutely great Customer Service from far too many other hotels to even consider them again.…
We’ve stayed here several times and each time the rooms are very clean. They also have a nice heated pool and hot tub. Also good for families. Close to the beach, about a 5 min drive. They have a minimal breakfast but the have coffee and juice. Cold cereal and breakfast burrito to heat in the microwave.
The hotel was clean and staff was polite and helpful. The beds were uncomfortable and the fan in the bathroom turned on with lights and was so loud you could not think. The toilet was loud and ran for a long time after flushing. Not the normal Comfort Inn standard. Met 2 star hotel ranking as listed on Hotwire.
I came into Santa Cruz with a few friends and after staying at previous choice hotels, I decided to make a last minute booking at Comfort Inn. It was an amazing experience! Friendly staff and comfortable clean rooms.
It seems, you get what your willing to pay for here. The room with the jackuzzi was worth exactly what I paid for it. A bit noisy but the jets from the tub pretty much drowned out everything else. The area is not so great but the proximity to beach is nice. I would stay again. 👍👍
Very Quite and very Clean comfortable room.bed and the bathroom is net and clean smell fresh Customer service was on point, all staff is friendly specially to Sheila the housekeeping ❤️❤️ Would return again next time ❤️
People working here are friendly and helpful! Motel has been updated, is clean and located close to everything. We were happy to find this great motel while moving my grandaughter into college. Just returned a few weeks ago to stay here and had the same experience.
This is a typical Comfort Inn. Not much to say about it other than the breakfast was a bit lacking. They had no eggs of any kind, but all the other usual items for the quick buffet. The second floor rooms required a walk up stairs...not sure there was an elevator...did not see one.
