This is a budget hotel with minimal amenities. The beds aren't very comfortable, the TVs are old and there's no complimentary conditioner or lotion in the bathrooms. They offer bare minimum comforts and necessities, but they are extremely cheap and located conveniently near the wharf and boardwalk. If you don't need much, and just want a place to crash, then...

The place was ok for a 2 star hotel but CUSTOMER SERVICE was REALLY bad! We stayed for 1 night with a toddler. After watching TV for 10 minutes it imploded. First we thought it was a short circuit in the hotel until we started smelling something. I checked the TV and there was smoke coming out the back. I...

We were slightly unsure after reading some reviews. Worry not. We had a great stay in a lovely clean room with newly fitted bathroom. Check in staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and in easy reach of the boardwalk and centre of Santa Cruz.

This place is disgusting. I don't know if it was mildew stains or live mildew in the plastic shower basin, I only know it was blackened. I don't know if the comforter was stained with grime or if the grime was still fresh, I only know it was too foul to lie on. I was on my hands and knees...

I rented 2 rooms for some friends and I. We were going to a wedding. I didn't like it at all. When I got out of the shower my hairdryer started a fire when I turned it on. Then when we went to bed my heater did not work. So needless to say I didn't enjoy my stay. Tried to...

We loved the location and speed of check-in. Some of the rooms have balconies but they do cost extra. We smoked on the balcony only, with the door completely shut each time, yet we were harrassed upon check out being accused of smoking inside the room. The guy literally ran his finger across the ragedy dresser (btw), checking for ashes...

This is not the Hilton so don't expect the Hilton. This is a very low budget motel held together with blood and sweat. The check in process was quick. They honored the price line price. Walking distance to several great restaurants and c-stores. Pool on property, small breakfast in the AM. Microwave and Mini Fridge in room. AC works well...

We just stayed one night because this hotel is too dark and cramp for us, carpet look old in the room, reception area small as well as the breakfast area. For the same price, we got a better hotel near the boardwalk, so just do your homework before booking budget places. Outdoor pool is small and supposed to be heated...

Check-in was strange; they wanted a large damage deposit on the charge card, which I refused to provide. Rather than let me walk, they waived it. The room was adequate at the price, but the TV didn't work - we were not going to use it much, so did not bother to complain about it. No soap, but we had...
