I may be more disappointed than the average person, because I made the mistake of booking A Four Sisters place TWICE in 1 trip. These place try to be a bed and breakfast, but they fall. They treat it like a business to cut corners and save money, and you can see it! Our top floor room, smelled like vinegar,...

This house on a hill is a beautiful building and is meticulous on the inside. We stayed here for one night and booked it last minute. It turned out to be a brilliant find! There is a huge living room area where guests can sit and read, etc. There is a wine reception each afternoon. There is a verdana on...

I booked two nights at this establishment based on the Tripadvisor reviews and I was not impressed. Reviewers need to stop embellishing what really goes on. This place has three floors but no elevator so getting yourself or large suitcases into upper floor rooms is an experience. The front desk girl was not all that helpful and she was too...

We had a wonderful stay at West Cliff Inn, while visiting our son in Santa Cruz. There are lots of things to like about this Inn. First, the location is great. Easy walking distance to the ocean, the boardwalk, and the wharf. On our second night there, we walked down to the Firefish Restaurant on the wharf, and had a...

This is our second time to stay at this B&B. It is a beautiful white building that sits a top of a hill. There is a patio on the second floor with comfortable chairs where you can sit and enjoy the view of the ocean and the Santa Cruz pier. Our room had a comfortable king bed and a fireplace....

Excellent experience. Free WiFi and free parking. We arrived late in the pouring rain, but there was a simple checkin process so we were able to get to our room with no problem. Gorgeous Victorian home. Don't forget it's a house, so you will hear the footsteps of the people staying above you because it was converted into a B&B....

Upon returning after 10 pm and very tired we found that there was not a parking space for us. There is no street parking or even close by parking and the parking lot at the inn is tight to begin with. There was no parking due to the fact that Faith the manager had purposely allowed a motor home to...

You need to set your expectation, this is not a 5-star lodging and there is no air conditioning (keep windows open for natural air). But if you want a nice and quiet place to stay that is close to the beach, you cannot go wrong with this. The breakfast selection is limited but very good home cook quality and they...

Let's face it, Santa Cruz is cool. It's got surfing, beach volleyball, great restaurants and gorgeous views. We enjoyed our stay at the West Cliff Inn. The room had a beautiful view of Monterrey Bay and was a short walk from the pier. Bonus was a gas fireplace which we actually needed due to a cool December night. The fireplace...

I almost don't want to share how wonderful my stay was because I don't want the secret to get out... but, really, it was too delightful an experience not to share it with the world. Every moment of this stay was perfect. I absolutely love the home-y touches: the warm greeting when you arrive, the cookies & drinks available in...
