We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay at the West Cliff inn on the coast. We were lucky to have clean air because of the fires burning in Northern California in the nearby mountains. Our room was spacious and they gave us an ocean view, even though it was not in our room rate. We liked the picnic basket breakfast delivered to the room. However, I don't think it's enough food for two typical Americans. We are light breakfast eaters but most folks would prefer more than one egg and definitely some gourmet sausages. Room coffee was the same as the Costco coffee I drink at home. The coffee served with breakfast was much better. Considering the pandemic, they are doing an excellent job with all aspects of services. We would definitely come back, and recommend it to others.

Hotel's Favorite
This beautiful b and b has an ocean view and easy access to beach, pier and town. Tall ceilings, porches with welcoming chairs, tasteful decor, well furnished and equipped rooms. Cooked breakfast is delicious. Wine and cheese offered in the evening. Friendly helpful staff.

Bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was out of this world. Access to area was ideal. You are treated like royalty. The outdoor porch is inviting as you watch the sunset while enjoying a glass of wine. You can walk to the beach, go to Roaring Camp railroad, visit Mt. Hermon, the surfing museum all very close by. Also the UCSC campus is so nice.

This place is clean, quiet, good tasty cheese tray, beverages, breakfast too. The two things that didn't like is that there's no A/C in the rooms, and being that the temperatures were high in the 80'S, 90'S, having no A/C wasn't comfortable. If the outside temperature is during cooler days, then wouldn't be a problem. Also, the check in time at 4 PM isn't convenient, even thought I requested an early check in. I would visited again, but in the spring or fall, never during high temperature days.

Every aspect of our stay from booking to departure was a pure delight!!! The manager, Rachel, and her staff, were so incredibly kind, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The personal attention was a true delight. The inn was conveniently located within a short walk to the boardwalk and the view from our room was gorgeous!!! The inn and our room were beautiful, spacious, and immaculate with wonderful touches that made it feel homey, comfortable, and luxurious! The jetted spa tub and super soft royal bath robes were heavenly. The food was incredible and we loved the luxury of the picnic breakfast in bed delivered to our door. We couldn't have enjoyed our short honeymoon more and so wished we could have stayed longer and have vowed to return as soon as we can!!!
