It’s located just across from wharf and the boardwalk. We stayed in a very clean and nice room with a shared balcony. They have popcorn and hot cocoa at night. They also have a heated pool, hot tub and fire pit. In the morning they have all kinds of coffee.

The staff were amazing! They were helpful and courteous and they had a coffee bar in the mornings with great service. The room was absolutely stunning and the view from the room was to die for. We were in room 205 and you could see and hear the waves come in from the beach from our room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who has a long stay in Santa Cruz because the room has the kitchenette and a shower for two 💘💘

I have stayed here several times and the experience is always wonderful. It’s a beautiful property, well maintained and the views are spectacular. The decor has a pleasant beach vibe. The kitchen suite is spacious and has basic cooking supplies. Very convenient if you don’t want to eat every meal out.

We stayed one night at the hotel. Was perfectly located in front of the wharf and just steps away from the pier. We loved the complimentary coffee and chocolate in the morning and the popcorn in the afternoon. At night we enjoyed spending time at the hot tub. Our room was a pool view one, was comfortable, had microwave and small fridge. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

I've been staying at Beach Street Inn and Suites for over ten years and have always been delighted with my visit! The rooms are clean, decorated in great beach themes and very roomy. The hotel is within walking distance to the boardwalk and surf spots, and the views are exceptional! The staff is always warm and friendly and happy to help. They serve the best specialty coffee drinks at the office each morning! The patios and adirondack chairs are a great spot to relax and enjoy an exceptional sunset. See you next year!

My boyfriend & I were extremely happy with our stay. It’s the perfect location since it’s super close to both the Wharf and the Boardwalk. And the ocean view was the best and closest I have ever had while staying in Santa Cruz. Love that our room had a little kitchen, which I actually wasn’t expecting. If I would have known and planned out an extra night I would have loved to bring some of snacks/breakfast to cook. Next time! The shower was amazing with 2 separate showers heads and very roomy. The bed was pretty comfortable as well. Almost felt like we had our own private area for a while. The only downfall I would say is when neighbors arrived next door for our last night. It was sooo nice to have our first night and morning that was very peaceful and quiet up until then. Guess it could have been worse though, so I’m thankful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back on the weekdays again which I feel is when prices are more reasonable.

Lovely space right on the water in Santa Cruz. Front desk staff was unbelievably kind and helpful! Note that parking is an extra cost, if not noted on site. We had a great stay and would absolutely stay again!

The view and location is wonderful. However, it took us until halfway through the first night to realize the "stench" was from 2 full garbage cans under the kitchen sink from the last guests. The King size bed and Queen size Murphy Bed were beyond uncomfortable and the pull out sofa bed was not even an option. The pillows were like sacks of flour and just as hard to sleep on. The inside of the shower had mold all around as did the bathroom walls above the baseboard. The next door guests were very obnoxious and management did nothing to resolve that issue. For the large amount spent on just 2 nights, we will not return.

This is a fabulous place to stay right on the beach/boardwalk of Santa Cruz. First, the service is excellent, every staff member we encountered was extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us. They have free coffee in the mornings, snow cones in the afternoon, and popcorn at night, so something for everyone - that was a big hit! The room was spacious, beds very comfortable. We had a room with a kitchen, which was nice, although we only used the oven once, but it was fine. There are great restaurants within walking distance, and you really cannot beat the Picnic Basket right downstairs for breakfast and lunch. We loved the big chairs on the balcony, it is so nice to sit out there. The pool and hot tub space is really nice, there is also a fire table there, which was cool. If you want to be on the beach/boardwalk in Santa Cruz, you cannot beat the location, the wharf pier is right across the street, the amusement park/arcade is just a couple of blocks away - the beach is great, we saw sea lions on the pier and one night on the beach ( in a tidepool). We drove downtown to the amazing bookstore, visited the NHS skate museum, the Santa Cruz Boardroom skateshop, and even did a day trip to visit Stanford (about 50 minutes away) Our two teenagers really loved it, which meant we all had a good time. It was really a great stay! I highly recommend.
