Easy to find. Steps from the beach. Parking was free Early check in was available. Quaint 1970s curb appeal. Friendly staff. Security cameras around the property. The positive on the room (family suite), clean and comfortable beds, no bugs, and great water pressure in the shower. Free wifi. Negatives, floors are dirty, bathrooms need help, walls seems to sweet, condensation...

When we arrived the room was very cold, like in a refrigeratory. We had to turn on the heater to heat the room for an hour to be able to take a shower. The bathroom was OK. It is not new, but it was clean. The room was also clean, the bed was comfortable, there was a thick blind curtain...

This place was disgusting, unclean, and overall a horrible motel. When we walked in the room, we instantly noticed the dirty rug that hadn't been cleaned and the rust/mold stained bathroom. Worst of all, the pillows and sheets were dirty and slept in- THEY DIDN'T CHANGE THE SHEETS FROM THE PREVIOUS GUESTS! It was disgusting and when we confronted one...

We stayed here one night while visiting the boardwalk. The parking lot is a nightmare especially for someone who drives a large truck fortunately I found a spot near the entrance cuz there's no way I could have made it through the narrow parking lot. The lady at the front desk was very hard to understand and it smelled pretty...

Great location but the property needs to be upgraded and cleaned. I asked for a double room situation and the extra bed was actually in a room no bigger than a large closet. The only good thing about the hotel was it's location. I understand it's a "beach" hotel but they could do better on the cleanliness and the appearance.

Positives: Very close to Boardwalk Family Owned and Operated Improvements Needed on the following: Cleanliness Quality toilet paper Coffee in room Hairdryer We pulled out our little couch in the room and trash was left behind it from previous visitors. The room smelled like musk, garlic and incense. It was not inviting. Our bed very hard, felt itchy! This place...

This was a great location, and a reasonable motel, for a good price. Nothing particularly outstanding about the motel, check in took a while, but was very friendly, and there was free parking right outside our room. It's a bit dated, but had everything we needed, and was right beside the beach, and only a short walk to downtown.

A fine 3 night stay. Great location for beach. Town centre is a bit further away needed to drive. Loads of places to dine near it. Cheap and cheerful. Just checked in and didn't speak to any staff for 3 days and left, which was nice and chilled. Price was good for location and aligned expectation. If passing through for...

Great location on a hill overlooking boardwalk. Fairly priced. Good value. Walk to pier. Older facility with friendly management. Parking is included. Rooms with extra bed are very good value. Had a nice, convenient, low-stress stay walking to and spending time on beach, boardwalk, and pier. Definitely recommend for affordability and location in Santa Cruz.

Centrally located motel. No issues with cleanliness and comfort. Pizza restaurant located just around the corner was worth a visit for a very filling meal! Wifi connection good and enabled Skype call outside to show the Santa Cruz surroundings!
