The location was only. 5 min walk to the boardwalk, the hotel is right next to the street, so sometimes it felthard to fall asleep. The beds were not the best quality but the room was very clean and the staff was nice.
-Had to buy cleaning supplies bcuz our room was so filthy....(our feet were BLACK after walking across the room) My guess is that it hasn’t been cleaned in 6 months or more. -The A/C unit is pre-programmed to turn on ONLY if above 80 degrees. It was so HOT and uncomfortable at night, making it difficult to sleep. -Parking was an absolute nightmare and the suggestion from management is to “park on the street.” There was construction across the street and not only were you awoken to the banging of hammers and men yelling, but the owner was profiting off allowing them to park in his already tiny parking lot! (20 marked parking spots for entire hotel) -TV & remote were both broken and pool was closed “due to COVID” (even though they are in orange tier currently and trending down). Breakfast was promised on the website, but sadly this was also closed “due to COVID”.......or should we say a lack of effort by staff. Many of the nearby hotels are offering a grab-n-go type of breakfast that qualifies as “contactless.”…
Price was different from what was stated online, no breakfast provided, room was not clean (garbage and food found under beds), towels were stained and ragged, broken AC/heating unit, TV was outdated, construction across the street, bathroom sink base was cracked, low water pressure, parking was sketchy as was neighborhood, staff wore pajamas. We asked for full refund and found new accomodations.
Quite simply, a wonderful stay. The hotel has obviously been recently refurbished to a high standard. Our room was very spacious and absolutely spotless. The bathroom was the same. A very good buffet style breakfast was available every morning with the bonus of fresh waffles !! The location is perfect for visiting both the boardwalk/beach front and downtown. There is construction work taking place opposite, but by no means anything to be concerned about, very little noise and work not starting until around 8am. A special mention goes to the manager Nativo and Jacobi who are on hand 24/7 and hugely helpful and professional. My wife and I were made to feel so welcome and actually felt that we were waving goodbye to friends when we left. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.…
Nativo checked us in, gave us a great room. Got a good rate. The rooms are recently upgraded and nice. Easy walk to boardwalk and catalyst. Very friendly and easy to deal with on check-in and check-out. Will definitely stay here again if I am lucky enough to get back to this cool town.
