The most friendly and welcoming hosts we have ever had! We found this B and B at the last minute and were so glad we did. Very surprised and delighted to have stayed in such an interesting and historic building. Only 5 minutes walk from the boardwalk and the beach. But the best thing for sure were our hosts who... Dirty, cluttered, unforgettable as the worst stay ever. Couldn't wait to get out and take a shower at the next hotel. Hairs found in all the wrong places, There is a Thai restaurant down near the arcade off the boardwalk that is good.

Dear Javelina: It was delightful having you as our guests in Cliff Crest Bed and Breakfast Inn. At the time you seemed very happy with the breakfast and everything else. We were sorry to hear through the review you wrote on Tripadvisor that the stay did not meet your expectation to such a degree that you wrote a very unfavorable... More

Arranged by our daughter, a local Santa Cruz resident, our stay at the Cliff Crest Inn was the most comfortable, welcoming and memorable Inn experience we've had in a long time. Quintessentially Santa Cruz with the Victorian architecture and charm; lovely art work and decor defined the rooms; a fresh, nutritious and hot breakfast started our day; a warm and... More

We enjoyed a one-night stay at the Cliff Crest B&B on a road trip up Highway One. It was the perfect location for us to enjoy the best of Santa Cruz all within walking distance of the B&B including the beach, boardwalk and downtown area. Adriana and Constantin were the perfect hosts! We were a bit earlier than expected in... More

Adrianna and Constantin are the owners of this lovely old Victorian. Their old-world charm and hospitality can't be rivaled. I wish I could have spent more time talking with both of them. One reviewer wrote that this was like visiting your grandma's home. I agree....in a positive way. The furnishings are "old fashioned", but comfortable. Rooms are small but adequate.... More

Let me start with what was excellent: the location is amazing. Quick walk to the boardwalk, and wharf, and long but pleasant walk to downtown. Beautiful old victorian home with rooms converted to bedrooms. We stayed in the Empire Room (ground floor, probably originally the parlor). Beautiful king bed with gorgeous linens and comforters. Slept like a baby. Adriana is... More

Adriana and Constantine were incredibly welcoming and kind. We felt just like we were at home. After all of our traveling over the last 30 years this was the first time the bed felt just like home!!! The bed was comfortable and the comforters were billowy...just like ours at home! The breakfasts were served gracefully and generously along with being... More
