NUMBER OF ROOMS
Out of our entire trip along the coast this by far was our favorite place we stayed! Beautiful rooms and wonderful staff! We will try to upload some pics from our trip. Very relaxing we decided to spend 2 nights here.
So glad we stumbled across Bella Notte on the internet when looking for lodging in Santa Cruz. We stayed two nights, a Wednesday and a Thursday. It is a motel but so nice it seems more like a hotel. The propertyy is close to the road but it was so quiet, we didn't hear any noise at all. We didn't hear any slamming doors or voices from our neighbors either, which we loved. The motel has a kind of "French Country" feel to it. There are only ten rooms so the place is very quiet. We chose a downstairs room with a "bubble" tub. The room (#3) was huge, well appointed, and clean. We had a refrigerator that came with 2 complimentary bottles of water. We had a king bed. Mattresses and pillows are a subjective thing; some like them firm and some like them soft. So rather than…
We enjoyed our stay in the very large room #8. It has a walk-in closet, extensive wine bar, gas fireplace with remote, comfy bed and chairs. Very clean--newly remodeled. Very tasteful Italian decor--liked the tile flooring and Florentine motif in shower. The small garden plantings remind me of Italy too. On a quiet part of East Cliff Santa Cruz near the harbor. No water View, but it is a close drive to all the East Cliff, West Cliff, Boardwalk/pier, and downtown attractions. Good light continental breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.
We were coming down to Santa Cruz with our kids for a soccer tournament and the league recommended this hotel among a few others. I really appreciated that they didn't have a two night minimum and that the price was really reasonable compared to how expensive hotels in Santa Cruz are. The service was really friendly and warm. The rooms were clean and pretty in an Italian style. Even though the hotel is on the road, the rooms are well insulated and you don't hear anything from the street. Walking distance to some charming beaches and cliffs. I recommend!
Stayed for two nights. The room was well appointed with features. Microwave, fridge, quiet A/C system, vaulted ceiling in our room on the upper floor. Nice quality touches in the amenities. Extremely clean. The Inn is very close to many things, while not being in the main busy area of Santa Cruz. There is food nearby, including a new Italian grocery/deli, Tutta Fresco, that had many tasty things. The staff was extremely friendly at Bella Notte. They were ready to answer any questions or requests we had, and responded to my emails quickly. Even being on East Cliff drive, the road noise we did hear was not disruptive to us. I'd expect downtown hotels to have larger problems with noise.
