NUMBER OF ROOMS
Quick weekend getaway from the Bay Area - stayed one night in Room 10 at Bella Notte. Excellent experience - room was lovely, large and clean. Had read reviews about noise from the street outside (it's a busy street, I guess) - but we had no issue at all. Staff was enormously friendly. We enjoyed a super relaxed overnight and would visit again in a heartbeat.
This was our first time at Bella Notte. Do not let the motel exterior fool you. The rooms are redecorated nicely. It was our anniversary and we were upgraded to a larger room. It was spacious with a fire place. I was apprehensive as it was close to the busy street, but it was very quiet. The staff were very friendly, kind, and helpful. I was happy that the continental breakfast did not have packaged pastries, but instead a variety of fresh bread products. The fresh strawberries, blueberries and cantaloupe were a nice touch. I thought this inn was a good value for Santa Cruz.
Even though it is right off the road, it is very quiet. Room was large with 2 queens and a super large closet and bathroom. Breakfast had fresh fruit, granola, tea variety. 2 minute drive to ocean view restaurant and 5 mins drive to boardwalk. Very classy compared to the run down places close to the boardwalk. Did I mention quiet!!!
Unusual extras; heated bathroom floors, walk-in closet, simulated fireplace, vaulted ceilings, etc. make for a romantic setting. Continental breakfast was good, but not special. Staff was extraordinarily responsive to all needs and wishes. Not priced for those on a budget.
I can’t say enough good about this sweet little boutique hotel. Seems a world away from the typical boardwalk hotels. Very upscale and quiet. Grounds have beautiful landscaping with areas to sit and enjoy. The parking lot is close and well lit. We stayed in the largest suite upstairs. Super cute with kitchenette and faux fireplace. Nice large bathroom with heated ceramic floors and upgraded toiletries. Awesome warm fluffy white robes come in each room. They offer light breakfast in the lobby and the receptionist was nice enough to let me print tickets for the roaring camp railroad trip we booked that day. Service was amazing and cleaning people were never seen but everything was always clean! The price was very reasonable for the area. Within walking distance to the beach…
