I really enjoyed my stay here at Hotel Stratford. The room was a lot nicer than I expected for the price I paid. The room was really clean and the bed was super comfortable. I loved the waffles they served for breakfast. I don’t have anything negative to say about this stay. The room was clean and updated, breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely be staying here again.
You won't find too much difference between various inns on El Camino real street is what is my guess. I stayed at two places & both are similar. Breakfast is really bad as it's in one room at the start of the inn with cold juice & some bread. Hardly anyone takes care & there are some 2 tables . Reception is good & they took two important couriers for me without sending them away thankfully. Good parking facilities (You need to register that you have a car). Room size is average & there are as hair in my coffee maker. They did not apologize but just replaced it saying it may have come somewhere through housekeeping. The bathroom has an auto lock & it got auto locked when I came out. Whole night I could not use the washroom. The 24*7 help from reception told me that she can arrange someone by morning 10 . I told I need a shower & get out quickly for a meeting. She did get someone on call in the morning at 8am & they told me how to turn the latch with a fork or a thin sharp object. It was good to get help but had trouble in one of the days. Again quite nearby to all places There is a coffee shop (called some big blue coffee or something ) down the street that opens up till 11 else everything gets closed by 9 I guess.…
Great location, but that's about all. Good old school Italian resturant across the street. Bare bones, bed/shower/towel. Noisey heater/air/thin window/thin sheet/blanket. Has vending machine tho, so why not?
Located right on El Camino real in Santa Clara. A mile from both HW 101 & 280. Close to many restaurants. It’s a small , clean and quiet place. They also serve a nice complimentary light breakfast. With pastries, juices ,coffee & some fresh fruit.
The front desk people were super friendly, but didn't quite have it together as far as passing message between shifts. Our room was on the far end... great because fresh air and a tree from the side window... but next to the ice machine which did not stop from 5AM to 8AM... seems there are a lot of construction workers staying there, who fill their containers with ice for the day?? The bed was very comfortable and, while the lighting is dark-ish in the room, there are reading lights on each side of the bed. Also a nice sized desk and really good rolling office chair to get some work done. Internet was good.
