I've been to a few Hyatt properties especially for the purpose of earning next year elite member status. There are great hotels and some ok hotels. This one is by far the most stable, awesome hotel I've stayed with. Some higher end hotel might miss to maintain a good room or sometimes fail to treat guests well. This one is always clean, spacious (especially if you just need a standard room) and the staffs are super friendly and welcome to take requests. I'm a person who writes more negative reviews than good ones (I'm sorry as a person but that's just me), but I do want to suggest this hotel to whoever wants to stay nearby south bay area in California
I arrived after traveling cross country and was exhausted. Upon reaching my room, I entered the bathroom and noticed the soap by the sink was not removed and from the previous occupant. There was only one wash cloth and a few towels. I went to use the room telephone and it would not work. I called the front desk and reported the issues. An apology was given and I was asked if I wanted to change rooms. I declined as I was very tired. An engineer was supposed to come and fix the telephone but that never happened. Housekeeping did come to take the old soap, provide towels wash cloths, and soap. The next four days the room was properly maintained.
Great hotel, good rooms, comfortable beds, quiet. Just what you’d expect. However, let down by breakfast, which was a cafe with limited selection of cold food. Okay if you want a croissant, but not I f you want eggs or something more substantial
Stayed here for the pool and spa. The pool was so overly crowded with day passes they sold you couldn’t even find a chair to sit on. The crowded area of people confirming they had bought day passes made me feel like they don’t want to accommodate the guests that are paying for rooms. The pool looked like a packed vegas pool throwing a party. Read the reviews and search for a better pool area that’s not overcrowded.
I hate to give this hotel two stars. I have stayed here countless times over the last few years. Most of those stays have been great, unfortunately over Labor Day weekend I experienced an unsatisfactory stay. So much so that I had to reach out to management. I expressed my concerns of the stay, and the problems I encountered. I was followed up with a “brush off” email from the front desk manager saying that could not have happened l(basically calling me a liar) not addressing any of my actual concerns. This left me very unsettled. I reached back out and asked if someone could follow up on the matter and heard nothing back. I have called and been told management is not available. Either they do not want to address the concerns or thought by ignoring the problem it will just go away. Again as a loyal customer at this hotel some sort of follow up was expected. Now, almost a month later, I'm still waiting to hear back. I am happy to speak further on the matter if someone would follow up on the issues I brought to their attention.…
I already explained the room was never cleaned and staff desk did not offer to clean it. and didn't give me a reason why?. I normally stay at Hilton and never have this issue since 2014. I been coming for last 8years and thought I should try the Hyatt. Big Mistake. Tony Hernandez
Quite tired inside, carpets don't look too clean, air con in the gym wasn't working, food options are poor. I think it's time for Hyatt to update the interiors of the hotel. I would not stay here again unless I had no other option.
Disappointed there is no continental breakfast at minimum or parking included in the price per night paid. Wish I had looked around a little more before I had booked this hotel, the only convenience was it was right across the street from Levi's Stadium where we were going.
Family attended a conference in the Santa Clara Convention Center, so it was very convenient. Hotel was pretty nice - clean, decent pool area, good food. Staff was professional and nice. Regency Club was a disappointment and I wouldn't recommend the upgrade. Breakfast in the hotel was way over priced, and charged to my room, despite being told it would not be, since I'd paid for Regency Club. Now working with Hyatt to get bill corrected, which is honestly a hassle I wish I didn't have to deal with.
Had the pleasure of staying at the Santa Clara Hyatt and certainly wasn’t disappointed. Reserves were made for me so I didn’t get a choice of hotel, but I’m glad it was here. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a great view of Levi Stadium. Will certainly stay there again when visiting Santa Clara. Highly recommend this place.
