Rooms were updated nicely with hardwood floors and nice bathroom. Staff was extraordinary and very accommodating. Queen bed was very comfortable and having wifi was added bonus. Access to local bus excellent. Nice having restaurant and bar on site. Room was extremely dark with only natural light being window which allowed no privacy. Had the feeling of a motel and...

We stayed at the Lemon Tree for one night in September. The price was good compared to other hotels in town. The hotel itself was decent, rooms seemed updated but bathrooms were a bit outdated. I liked that everyones room overlooked the pool and had a patio. The downside for us was our room was right next to the restaurant....

Stayed here for a night on a road trip down the pacific coast highway. Only wish we had stayed longer. Comfortable bed, loads of space and fab patio looking out over pool. Helpful and friendly staff topped of a great stay :)

Went here in late October and got a room for 100$ and was well worth it. Clean, quiet, very comfortable beds, great location to shopping and restaurants, great patio set and patio around a tropical setting with a very large pool for laps. The front desk very helpful and open 24 hrs. On upper State St, 10-15 minutes to the Pier and...

We spent only one night and maybe they have assigned us to a bad room...(218). The bed was good and the pool view in the morning was very nice. It is close to the State Street (where it all happens) and they have free parking. However, there was a a major issue: bathroom had a bad smell (shower area) and...

I stayed here with another friend for 4 nights. Overall, I would not return. The room itself looks nice, the bed is better than some, however the three small lumpy pillows (1/2 size of a normal pillow) are not so good. When I asked for new ones in the evening, the Front Desk said well, try in the morning as...

RogerVegas, Thank you for recognizing several positive features of our wondeful Santa Barbara Hotel. We regret needing to relocate your friends, but when emergencies occur sometimes inconvenience is unavoidable. We have an excellent Wi-Fi system, and our free Showtime is found on channel 2. Our in-room ammenities are well received by our guests and we also regret that they did...

Kind of a throwback to upscale stays of bygone days. The pool area and surroundings are the best part. Actual lemon trees on the ground, no false advertising there. Colours are contemporary, although room painted very dark (chocolate brown) - not what you'd expect in sunny California. Thankful for the balcony patio for some brightness. We had some problems with...

My husband and I were on a road trip from San Francisco to San Diego and needed a place to stay for the night. After a full day's travel I consulted (good old) TripAdvisor and saw that the reviews of the Lemon Tree looked favourable, so decided to give it a try. Wow what a pleasant surprise we had! Everything...

I've stayed in this hotel numerous times and am never disappointed. The hotel is built around a big pool with beautiful landscaping. While relaxing by the pool with that lovely Santa Barbara breeze, I feel like I'm a million miles away!! The prices are reasonable (for Santa Barbara!) and the hotel staff very pleasant. The hotel is located well for...

Great hotel, great value and incredibly comfortable bed! We originally booked separate nights on booking.com as we wanted to stay longer and they allowed us to stay in the same room as it was the only King room available in the hotel. They staff were lovely, the room was immaculate and the pool was great and quiet. The restaurant next...
