Arrived early and the innkeeper bent over backward to ensure I was settled in early so I wouldn't have to schlep my luggage with me in Santa Barbara that afternoon. He was friendly, funny and down to earth. Kind of like visiting a relative who really wants to make you feel welcome, prepared ahead for your stay, but has other... More

We really enjoyed our recent stay at this Inn! We only had a short time in Santa Barbara and John (the innkeeper) really helped us figure out the best things to do and provided us with all sorts of useful materials. Also, the breakfast was a real highlight! John prepared this each morning and delivered it in a cute little... More

I felt very lucky to find this place. I got a special rate of 135 because I was staying 4 days, mostly weekdays. Every days breakfast was different and all were warm and wonderful. My favorite was pancakes with fresh blueberry sauce closely followed by a warm croissant stuffed with scrambled eggs and mushrooms. There is a lovely garden out... More

We stayed in the "Hideaway", which while small was quiet and perfectly fine for the two of us. The breakfasts were wonderful, and delivered punctually each day of our stay. We opted to dine over in the garden by the main house, but the proprietors are very flexible on where you can eat. John was quite helpful with our questions... More

We were very lucky to be able to book the Garden Room here at the last minute on our drive from Monterey to LA. The room is very cozy, but offered exactly what we needed for our stay - a quiet, clean and beautifully decorated room with pretty garden outlook, TV and a lovely ensuite with a decent shower. The... We were suppose to go to Istanbul for my birthday, but had to cancel after the bombings recently, so we chose a weekend in Santa Barbara to have a couple of days without children. We were so lucky to find the White Jasmine Inn at the last minute..The room was quiet, and peaceful the bed so very comfortable, and everything... More

Sweet room, and while small, it had all the amenities we would need for a weekend stay: tv, fireplace, large closet and coffee in the room, plenty of electrical outlets, desk, nook for reading or looking out the window. Breakfasts were served hot and delicious. One morning we needed to leave early and we were provided breakfast to go which... More

We enjoyed a night in the inn's spacious suite with a separate entrance, hot tub, and spacious living area furnished with antiques. Breakfast consisted of a generous basket filled with quiche, muffins, OJ and coffee. The inn is very convenient, just off the 101 and 2 blocks from the nice end of State Street.

Our recent 5 night stay at the White Jasmine Inn in Santa Barbara certainly calls for some comments. I suppose a person would have to stay at all the B&Bs in a town to proclaim one as “The Best”. I can only say this was a wonderful pick on our recent visit and should we return to Santa Barbara we... More

Oh gosh, where do I start! This place was so unique and had so much charm. We were in walking distance to the Santa Barbara Bowl to see a concert. On the way there were many restaurants to choose from with fresh food and fresh drinks that were top notch. We took the advice of the host The next day... More
