Sadly we will not stay at Palihouse again. We loved the property when it was Spanish Garden but the quality of property, service and value did not live up to the advertisements or our expectations. The apathy of staff and low quality service made us feel deceived and cheated. Our Bill $3,900 for 3 nights of Motel 6 quality
What a wonderful couple of days getaway to Santa Barbara. Really enjoyed The PALIHOUSE SANTA BARBARA. From the AMAZING and CORDIAL Elisa at front desk check in to the really cool and wonderful Noel THE Bartender😂🤙🏾 Who also made our dinner reservations for us ZAYTOON(Great Lebanese restaurant) and wonderful Claire F&B Supervisor, who checked on us to make sure we're doing great and enjoying our stay. Thank You!!! Cheers 👍🏿🙏🏿😊
Great place to stay, we really enjoyed our 2 nights. Staff was super friendly, decor was tasteful, room was super clean with a great private patio. You can walk to State Street and all the restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. Highly recommend!
Very disappointing. Run down. Dark rooms. Not a real pool. The bar was closed. No one onsite. Guests had pets that roamed the wading pool and urinated on the lounge chairs. We spent almost $1,000 for one night including resort fee. There is no resort.
I have spent a lot of time in Santa Barbara and personally enjoy the hillside and neighborhood of SB rather than the touristy State Street area. That's why I chose Palihouse and I'm so glad we did. It's a very cute, boutique hotel with nice rooms, quiet ambiance, and very nice amenities. Anything you want in your room, they have including a well stocked full-sized fridge and snack basket. The bed was incredible, the multilingual staff were wonderful and friendly... Palihouse is our new "go to" spot when we stay in SB.
We had an amazing time at the Palihouse in Santa Barbara. The hotel is tucked away in a safe, peaceful location that's still within walking distance to the best shopping streets. The rooms are oversized and beautiful. Everything was exceptional, especially Bianca who went above and beyond for us. When we asked her for recommendations, she took the time to write us a list of various restaurants, events, outdoor activities, etc. We followed her recommendations and had the best time in Santa Barbara. I only wish I could have stayed longer.
The Palihouse is very charming with top notch service. Location is very convenient as well. We arrived in the morning and were allowed to check in which was really nice. The happy hour is a great feature which we really enjoyed. Highly recommend.
The most lovely little boutique property. Perfectly located a few blocks off of State Street. Coffee shops and restaurants are very nearby. Rooms are incredibly charming and well appointed. The courtyard and pool area a adorable and a really great vibe. Bikes are available to use, which we really enjoyed. We will definitely be back.
2 friends and I stayed at the SB Palihouse. The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. We had a wonderful private patio to enjoy. And, the beds were incredibly comfortable! The entire staff was very friendly. We really enjoyed the use of bikes and happy hour. Walkable to State Street. We parked at the hotel and walked or biked the entire stay. All of the food and drinks we ordered were delicious. It was really a great trip thanks to this hotel! We will be back!!!
Very nice but not excellent, especially for the price. I would stay again but again, for the cost, value could be better for sure. It's an expensive area but I was there 4 days and I think it was pretty god but minor details left out. Not what you would expect at a $1000 per night hotel...
