It was my girlfriend and my first time staying at this lovely place. Everything was very accommodating. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious for us two. It was loaded with all the kitchen appliances, kitchenware, silverware that you would find in your own kitchen. All the rooms were clean. I would recommend this to future guests.

The Franciscan is a great place for being able to walk everywhere. The service at the front desk was excellent, and we were able to check in early. The rooms are clean and nice. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. We were happy with everything there.

We stayed on a Saturday night so of course it was high. The problem was they said due to covid no breakfast no wine basically overpriced small room. This was our 6th hotel over 10 days and the only one that cut all services due to covid. All the other managed to still offer breakfast in a safe way. I believe they were really taking advantage. We’ve stayed there before but never again.

We only stayed 2 nights but it was nice. Clean rooms and the pool was clean and open with some shade which I like. Quiet location. Noisy doors, though! Every time someone closed a door it sounded like they were Slamming it but they weren't. The knobs are stiff and loud when the doors are closed. Annoying! Otherwise, a decent place to stay. I'd stay again but def with ear plugs.

This hotel is OK for a night or two just to sleep, as long as you don't spend too much time in it. The cleaniless was decent, could be better. The noise level is equivalent to me having the window open. I think depending on where you stay on the property the noise level can vary. For me, I was on the bottom level near the front and I can hear the housekeepers and gardeners outside. It was hard to sleep in. The pool is a nice addition, but I avoided it since it was a bit too crowded to adequatly social distance from people. Blow dryer and coffee maker are provided in the room. The place is a good distance to the beach and to downtown SB.
