Fantastic location, super clean rooms and property, very tasteful decor, warm pool. Owner was so nice and friendly, made us feel very welcome. He gave us lots of information what to do and very good restaurant recommendation. We only stayed for one night and we definetely will come back to stay longer.
Perfect location for going to the Santa Barbara Bowl to see Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. One block to the beach and Reunion Restaurant (a must). Loved that the hotel has been in the family since the mid seventies. I LOVE supporting family business! The owners were super friendly and helpful with all our needs. The owners have pride of ownership. The hotel is super clean and updated. A hidden gem. We liked our stay so much - we booked a room for threes nights for next August to go to the Santa Barbara Fiesta 🪅
Great people, great location, great room, just a terrific place to stay. Right near the beach and a great restaurant (Reunion) on the beach in walking distance, nice pool, covered parking. Room was large and well appointed. Owners were very friendly and gave good advice on where and where not to go.
Terrific location, lovely, spacious rooms, a beautiful pool and sunbathing area, and warm, attentive service (Thank you, Greg!). Of all the spots up and down the California coast, this one was our favorite. We loved our stay at Pacific Crest and we will certainly be back!
I was so impressed with our room. We only had one night to stay and the room was so lovely. Best of all the bed was so comfortable and perfect! There was a special story told about our room and you will have to stay a night to find out about the story. Thank you Greg for providing a wonderful cup of coffee! You made our one night special for my friend and I especially after having a small accident before we got there in my truck. Hope to come back sometime in the future!
I liked this place because we stayed upstairs in a pretty room with a view of the water. The decor is beachy in a tasteful way. Yeah, the room and bathroom were on the small side, but there is a roomy walk-in closet. Plus the price is right. I especially appreciated the comfy mattress. Our host was informative and told us about a nearby restaurant called Reunion. We went there because my husband didn't want to drive anywhere after our long trip from Santa Cruz via Carmel. My husband loved what he got for dinner. Because of my diet restrictions, there was only one option for me on the menu. Kind of blah and predictable. The pool looked really pretty and we were going to swim in the morning. But we decided to hurry home and see our cats and swim in our own pool. I think the best thing about this place is the price, the service, and the bed.…
The Pacific Crest Hotel is an amazing place to stay in SB. It is very reasonably priced and only two blocks from the beach (East Beach). The owners are friendly and helpful; the whole hotel is super clean and quiet.
We enjoyed our stay here. Great location from which to explore Santa Barbara as well as Los Olivos and wine country. The owners are very friendly and happily offered recommendations for restaurants. The accommodations were comfortable and enjoyable.
I will never understand why a motel or hotel would not have a microwave, at least one in the lobby, this is the first for us! Make sure to read everything or he will throw that at you! Bottom line is EVERYTHING, $150.00 FOR A MICROWAVE, WE COULD CUT YOU A LOAN!
My daughter lives in Santa Barbara and I've stayed in many hotels over the years. For some unknown reason I hadn't stayed at Pacific Crest until this June. I spent 12 nights here and can say that this hotel has a lot going for it. Great owners who are attentive but not intrusive. Nicely remodeled rooms, with excellent beds. Little touches like excellent ground coffee in a jar instead of the one cup at a time wasteful coffee pods. I had a lovely upstairs room. Nice to be able to sit outside on the balcony with my morning coffee. I could see the water, and it was just a block and half to the beach. East Beach is quieter than West Beach, and great for a stroll any time of day. Excellent small grocery store is a five minute walk. Make sure you go to East Beach Tacos too - and watch the batting cages at the same time. You can even walk to the zoo. This hotel is situated on a pretty side street, is very comfortable, locally owned and a great value for Santa Barbara. I will be back.…
