Searched for one of the cheapest places in town, so cant blame this hotel for being what it is, yes it is dodgy, and run down, but I found room to be generally clean enough, yes I could pick on things like mould in shower and thick dust on ceiling fan, but bed was clean and shower was nice and...

I cannot recommend this motel to anyone. The room was extremely dirty and noisy. You will be charged $120+ (Wi-Fi included). At least stay away from room #10 (next to the owners), it's just too noisy.

We were travelling from Los Angeles to San Fransisco along the Pasific Coast Highway, and decided to spend one night in Santa Barbara. Most motels were all booked or very expensive (200+ a night) and this one had a room (1 queen bed...) and was "only" 110$. Wow. EVERYTHING is broken. Bathroom door doesn't close. Mold and dirt everywhere. Filthy...

After having checked out four other hotels we settled on this one because the price seemed to be right, they had a room upstairs, with a tub, and a bathroom with a window. Parking outside was easy, straight shot up on State Street, where all the actions are. This is an old, run-down hotel, which needs repairs and updates everywhere....

Just stay away from this place. You will be charged 156 or 200+ (it's up to the owner's mood or your dressing) for a night and 10 bucks for the deposit(they will return it or not). You will get a ghetto room, hair on the sheet, blood spot on the towels, cracked toilet seat, smelled carpet, everything in a slum...

Arrived here after 11:30 and got the last room. 3 people came in asking for rooms as I was paying. 85 dollars plus 10 dollars tax for 2 people with a big bed each. We searched for motels in Santa Barbara and 7 of them were full and another was $140 so I was happy this place did not overcharge...

Unfortunately we reached Santa Barbara on a Saturday late afternoon in May 2013... and could not find any vacancy cheaper than 100$ per night (2 people, 1 bed). So after 4h we took that lousy flophouse. I had never experienced a room so grubby. Old stuff in the fridge, broken doors, dirty bath and carpet... and so on... for 110$!

We stayed there just one night because it was late and we were tired. The room was durty and in the bed we found hair from the last guests I think. The furniture were old and badly damaged. The carpet was perforated from cigaretts. The towels were full with Make Up from other visitors. and so on

We visited Santa Barbara on a Saturday night, accomodation was scarce! We paid $162.40 for the night for this terrible pink door motel. What a joke! Curtains falling off rods, windows that do not lock, no breakfast - probably just as well! Not nice!

Wondering what a $130 room gets you in Santa Barbara in August? If it's the Holiday Lodge then it may be a dive. It's hard to believe such a place can demand (and get) more than $40 a night. Ok. What it has: a swimming pool, refrigerator in some rooms, microwave in others, tv with many channels, and thin walls...
