I've stayed in this hotel for one night and was very Satisfied. The room was incredibly nice, spacious, good bathroom. The staff was very friendly. They have a good breakfast. Also a US$15 per night parking lot. The location couldn't been better. I definitely recomend it.

We did request to move to a room on the outside looking over the street and paid to upgrade to a junior suite which was well worth it. Air con is great. Water pressure excellent, check in was easy, breakfast set up in the foyer with a true European feel. A lovely experience. Great valet team and nothing is too... More

This was a nice hotel. It doesn't have the most modern appointments, but it's aged well. Clean, well kept, and with a friendly and attentive staff. There's a small but respectable business center. There's a super cool antique elevator in the lobby, although you're better off with the stairs after checking it out once.

This Hotel was elegant and the staff was so welcoming and the attention to detail was above and beyond. They came out to our bus as we arrived and welcomed us, showed us to the lobby where they had cookies and lemonade, ice tea and water, the transition from bus to hotel rooms was smooth and soon my 30 residents... We found this hotel very pleasant and would recommend it.The room was a bit small but totally adequate. Continental breakfast was quite good. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the downtown. We were easily able to walk to the beach/pier.

Hotel is right in the heart of downtown which is convenient. Lots of things to do in walking distance. Very nice continental breakfast and the triple pain Windows and quiet hours are appreciated. Very tiny old historic elevator makes things slow. New was nice but bathrooms could use an upgrade. A bit on the hug side but compatible given the... More

I first booked a place by the beach, but then cancelled it for this place in downtown and we loved the location, very clean and cosy, a bit tiny, but we didnt stay in hotel for too long rather than sleeping. My only comment for hotel management, is that if breakfast time is from 7am, it should be on the... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. They have an old elevator to use if you do not want to use the stairs. The continental breakfast was very nice. They had coffee and a cold flavored drinks in the afternoon. Our room was small but very comfortable. I would stay there again!

Mary D - So glad you enjoyed your visit. Yes, our elevator has some character! The inner workings are not old, but we kept the original Otis sliding door which gives it some charm. We'll look forward to your next visit! More

A nice older hotel with some character. Larger rooms, close to all the shops. And I took the train, only a few blocks walk from Amtrak station. Would stay again. Only thing I missed was some outside space to sit and enjoy SB weather.
