Was supposed to go there in Dec but the night before I ended up in hospital and unfortunately had to pay for the stay as we could not cancel 24 hours before. But we booked again last week and absolutely loved this place and would highly recommended it as the only place to ever stay in Santa Barbra. Beautiful and amazing hospitality!

If you want to stay at a SUPERB hotel look no further than the Eagle Inn. You will receive great service, our room was so comfortable and breakfast really good! Furthermore it is so close to the railway station if you, like us, plan to travel by train. Having said this it is in a very quiet and accessible area of town. Thanks to all of you at the Eagle Inn!

My wife and I and my sister-in-law just got home from a two-room, two-night stay at the Eagle Inn. We are avid travelers and rely on reviews - particularly on TripAdvisor - to decide where to sleep and dine. The outstanding reviews of the Eagle Inn convinced us that our stay would be a good one. The reviews were right. First of all, we were able to check in well before check-in time but were invited to use the parking lot even if our rooms weren't yet ready. The Inn is even more charming than it looks on the website with archways, colorful tiles, well curated art (in the halls and in the rooms), and a sunlit outdoor terrace for breakfast (or other-time) seating. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and at least our bathroom (and probably all bathrooms) was recently totally renovated. The water in the shower was hot and plentiful. We had windows facing two directions. The wifi was strong and the cable TV loaded with the customary over-abundance of channels. The usual amenities of flat-screen TV, small frig, microwave, and coffee maker were all there and functioning. When we needed help figuring out the TV and climate control, help was immediate. The Inn is immaculate in both the rooms and the public areas. The hot breakfast, conveniently served from 7:30 to !0:00, is well-made and the limited choices were all good and even allowing for some customizing. Parking is easy, on-site, and free. Hospitality from the owner Paul to Sky and Peter at the front desk was genuinely friendly and efficient. We were offered help with activities and restaurants which, as you can tell by my obsession with research, we didn't need. There's not much more I can say to justify another 5-star rating.

Excellent choice when you don’t need the hotel style facilities. This really is a perfect place - 2 blocks to the beach, 3 to State Street. Extremely clean and well kept. Excellent, easy cooked breakfast with multiple options. 100% will stay here again. Recommend deluxe room or casitas. Also its a really cute building - not at all like the ‘motel’ style places in the area.

What a pleasant surprise this quaint hotel was. The check in was very quick and easy. We absolutely loved the room. It is everything you need plus more for a 3 night stay. The breakfast was quite delicious and served daily with choices. The hotel is 2 blocks from the beach and two blocks from State Street. We had brought our bikes and they were safely locked up each night. We went on a Sharkland Tour which was also 2 blocks away from the hotel. Many dining choices within 2 blocks in any direction from the hotel. We originally were going to stay at a Best Western so glad we chose not to. Will be back again!

Beautiful hotel in SB. Walking distance to the beach and lots of restaurants. We enjoyed our stay very much. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning is also very good. We were able to walk to the Funk Zone from the hotel for dinner at the Lark.

This is our third stay at Eagles Inn. The location is ideal and the area quiet and clean. This time we stayed in one of their very lovely, spacious and private casitas. As usual, the bed and pillows were very comfy, the whirlpool tub a treat, the fireplace cozy and the mini-kitchenette handy with Keurig at the ready. The made-to-order, free breakfast was tasty and ready early enough to get your day started. Check-in staff was gracious and accommodating. The bed sheets are so soft and nice that we ordered our own after visiting the first time! Eagles Inn is our go-to hotel stay when we visit this area. You won't be disappointed.

The Eagle Inn is well situated--close to the beach, the Funk Zone, and easily walkable to State Street. We booked a king room with a fireplace and jacuzzi. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The full breakfast that came with the room was delicious--a series of rotating options that are made to order. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
