The Ragged point inn and resort is amazing. Cheapest rate is approx 89 dollars but we spend 30 dollars more and got a room with a view... Money well spend!!!! The view from the resort is incredible. We also had a fireplace in the room. There is a trail down to the beach and here we saw a sea lion....

We wandered in without a reservation on a Thursday afternoon and found that we had a choice of several rooms overlooking the Pacific. The grounds are very inviting and a walk down to the rocky beach on a very steep trail is a nice adventure for the sure-footed. Our room was clean and well appointed. While the TV is an...

This is our third stay at the Ragged Point Inn. The location is most spectacular for Big Sur and the staff and ambiance of the resort are designed to enhance your appreciation for the vista. We are disappointed in the restaurant so don't bring expectations for a spectacular meal. Eat a late and stay in your room, roam the grounds...

Without a doubt this resort occupies one of the most beautiful locations on HWY 1. The grounds are spectacular and views incredible. Perhaps because of this they really don't care about the rest of the details. We met friends for lunch one afternoon. The service was slow at first and as the meal progressed it went downhill. By the end...

A sensational location on the cliff tops overlooking the ocean. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, and the restaurant serves a meal which will not qualify for a Michelin star but is tasty and wholly adequate. A special mention for the quite beautiful gardens.

My husband & it went up for an overnight stay to celebrate our anniversary. We've been there several times for lunch with visiting friends and family and finally took the opportunity to stay there. It was one of their specials which included breakfast and wine with dinner. We were not disappointed. We had one of the first level rooms with...

The Cliff House was where the bride and groom stayed and then we all partied at the house. Beautiful building...just like home!!! All in all it is a fantastic place!!!!! and you can't beat...

We have stayed many times at this motel and loved it. However, our experience this time was not so good. We stayed here 10/8/2013. Thankfully, we were on the ground floor, because the lock broke on the door and we couldn't get out. The maintenance people could not fix it, so we had to transport out luggage out the sliding...

Stayed here over night on the trek from the Bay to LA and it was perfect. I had researched several places along the route and this one met all my needs while being affordable. We stayed in a ground floor room that had a fireplace and patio overlooking the ocean. We arrived after dark and were able to buy a...
