The room was very nice and well equipped. But it had the most amazing view out the windows of the room and off the deck. Look out the window, still in bed and see the coastline going south. From the deck you could watch the gorgeous sunset.

We stayed at Ragged Point for one night, if we had not had reservations in San Francisco we would have booked a second night. Location was amazing it truly sits on a Ragged Point facing the Pacific. This was the last hotel as you head north into Big Sur that was still open, the next 100 miles of Rt 1...

The rooms are clean, spacious, and well maintained, and there was an excellent view of the coast from our room. Not all rooms have a view, so if that is important to you, be sure to call. The grounds overall are nice. There is no swimming pool, which was a disappointment. We had a Keurig in our room and made...

We found a coupon in the local Sun newspaper for a Getaway Retreat. The getaway included a one night stay in cliff side room, first floor, dinner voucher for $50, and two breakfast entrees for $179 plus tax. We made the reservations and the front desk was very helpful. We got in early Friday afternoon and our room was ready....

Horrible place to stay! VERY outdated with NO phones working (outgoing)! Our smoke sector was old and filthy! Kept hearing "beep" from smoke sector, and upon lookin, NO BATTERIES! Couldn't call out to office, and had to walk up to office to complain! The young girl was rude, and said someone would come and fix it....nothing...had to go up again,since...

My wife and I wanted an easy quick escape. I saw some mixed reviews on the property, but decided to check it out anyway. If you are looking for slick or glitzy, not for you. However if you are looking for a rustic nice place to enjoy natural beauty and stunning views a great spot. The front desk staff was...

We took a drive to see the resort. We visited the office/gift shop. The lady we spoke to was quite pleasant. She gave us a list of seasonal rates. We walked around the grounds, walking to a viewing area. There were several paths. We went through the restaurant, gift shop, and by the snack bar. We did see where the...

It's a hotel surrounded with beautiful garden with so many plants, trees and flowers that you almost feel as in a botanical garden. Nice coffee shop and a view point for the wild beach cliffs from top. Don't miss that (!)

This property is basically located at a gas stop along Highway 1. There is also a snack bar, a "convenience shop" and a sub-par restaurant. The view from the room was fine and we could hear the ocean if we left the sliding door open. The staff were unhelpful and directed us to the gas station for directions and a...

My husband and I stayed at Ragged Point Inn for one night after the Christmas holidays on our drive up PCH from San Diego to San Francisco. It was our favorite hotel along the way - big cozy rooms (loved the fireplaces!), gorgeous views, no wifi (it doesn't work but this was really a plus to be offline) and great...
