Mediterranean eggs and bacon, portabella omlettes, huevos rancheros, and eggs florentine - all fresh, hot, delicious, and at reasonable prices (esp. versus San Francisco prices), plus very good offerings of tea and espresso drinks. Excellent food at excellent prices.

Charming place. A lot of character. Don't stay in the room over the restaurant if you like quiet. Kitchen staff start up the raucous music at 8:15 AM on Sunday morning when they start setting up for brunch:( Street parking was relatively easy. The continental breakfast was decent.

Wow, what a find this was! Can't wait to go back. Needed to find a spot for an early dinner near the venue for the Marin Symphony. Found this place searching online and we decided to give it a try. Delightful! Now, this was an early dinner on a Tuesday night, so we pretty much had the dining room to... More

Older rooms, each decorated differently. Nice bed in a nice size room with a small separate area with sink, refrig, coffee maker. Bathroom has an old claw foot tub with a nice shower attachment. Very adequate hotel, room on the second floor so need to be able to handle stairs. Continental breakfast included the basic food, nothing more. However, the... More

We stayed here because of a wedding nearby. We love the room, the restaurant, and how unique this place is. It's more like a B&B than a hotel. And the staff seems very nice but unintrusive. The restaurant within the hotel serves really good food. The locals love this place and like to bring their dogs here on Fridays for... More

We had a work dinner here in the back garden which was as charming as could be with trees and stringed lights. Felt like we were truly in another country. The food was very good. We had an avocado and crab starter which had delicious flavors. THe burger was also very good. ALl the food served looked excellent.

My wife, teenage daughter and I spent a wonderful week at the Panama Hotel. We stayed in Rosie's Room on the second floor above the restaurant patio. We all enjoyed the homey atmosphere in our suite, much more interesting than a sterile hotel room. The door opens into a living area with a small table and chairs, a flat screen... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and thought it was very nice. We were in Mimi's Bungalow; which gave us plenty of room and was very private. Close to wine country, and the city. We enjoyed our visit very much and will stay here again the next time we visit San Rafael.
