Our initial room had torn carpet & ants coming through, lining the nightstands & table for working or eating... We moved to our next room (2205) & luckily it was ant-free... The room smelled a bit stale & I noticed a few old cobwebs on the ceiling above our bed & the wooden fish art on the wall... It appears that these rooms don’t get aired out & properly sanitized, other than changing sheets & taking trash out... Carpeted halls & bedrooms have deep stain issues & hold on to stale smells... Thankfully, I bring my own Lysol wipes so I was able to wipe down the light switches, doorknobs & table tops... After seeing 2 different rooms, I unfortunately am not impressed with this resort... Management needs to invest in some upgrades, replace old gross carpets with hardwood or vinyl flooring & more staff to help clean/dust the rooms... Helpful tip - take a vacuum to the walls & ceilings to get the cobwebs...

The room itself is huge but the bed (king bed and sofa bed) and pillows were so lumpy and horrible... We originally asked for a different room as it wasn’t very clean and parking was a real issue and they said they were all booked... I told them I’m willing to pay whatever just as long as I get a better room but that was a no go... I was later in the lobby and saw them changing two other people’s rooms... I gave them a two stars review because the size of the room and also because they did include a kayak or paddle board for free with our stay...

...The rooms in our most recent stays always had something not properly working, and the walls/ceilings are poorly insulated so a noisy neighbour can easily disrupt a night (and the staff won't be able to offer a solution even if the noise persists many nights in a row)...
