The Peach Tree Inn is a home-style inn centrally located in friendly San Luis Obispo. Our caring front desk staff know San Luis Obispo well and are eager to assist you in making your stay most enjoyable.Located on the edge of town, our Inn allows visitors the ability to carry on business-as-usual, or to escape from the hurried world to relax on the porch, gaze at the hillside and chat with interesting travelers.
Clean rooms, but for god's sake, please turn off the courtyard lights at night!!! With the thin curtains, it was like trying to sleep in the middle of the day. I got like 1 hour of sleep when we stayed there this past weekend.

I read a lot of reviews before picking Peach Tree - and I was not disappointed. It's cheap- so if you want to stay for under $100 out the door a night, this is your best deal. Yes, the rooms are tiny and basic- but they are clean, have been updated, beds are comfy and they still squeeze in a microwave and fridge AND a decent little breakfast included with oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, toast, fruit and coffee. I loved that it's right off the freeway and I could pull up to within 6 feet of our door! The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. If you want/need more than that, just expect to pay more. For the price, you won't beat it.

This is a smaller motel in downtown San Luis Obispo. This is an older motel but is very clean and very well maintained. The grounds are well kept and very pretty. Our room was toward the back of the property and was a bit small but very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast room was large and cozy. It felt like you were visiting someone’s home! The motel advertises a continental breakfast but this was more than that. From steel cut oatmeal, toast, hard boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit, there were many great options. I felt like a lot of thought and care were put into the decor and presentation of the food. I would highly recommend this motel to guests for a budget motel, you get a lot of bang for your buck!

The Peach Tree Inn is the perfect spot for us to enjoy the central coast or to break up the drive for a longer road trip. Inn located conveniently off 101, walkable to restaurants and has free parking in front of your room. We have stayed here a few times in the past and usually stay in the larger rooms with a patio down by the creek. This time, as we were only staying 1 nite, we stayed in a smaller room in the center of the property. What we like about the Peach Tree - 1) the employees we have interfaced with have all been friendly and helpful, 2) they have a good breakfast spread for most tastes, 3) coffee is available most all day, 4) good location to explore the coast or SLO, 5) the price is right. It is not fancy but clean, comfortable and good location. We will be back.…

Was visiting the Cal Poly campus and decided to stay at Peach Tree Inn because the price was super reasonable and we needed two rooms. So glad we did. Comfy beds and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Dog friendly motel that is clean and quiet and conveniently located to be able to walk to the main area of downtown SLO (about a 10 minute walk). There's a bunch of hotels/motels in this area, and this is definitely on the more basic end and not trendy like some of the others I've been to, but it's affordable, clean, and dog-friendly.

On a solo trip to Cal Poly to visit my kiddo. Stayed here and loved it; PTI was exactly what I needed. Safe, clean, comfy bed, great location and parking, attentive staff and fantastic coffee! Recommend 100%.

This is everything you want in a budget motel. Basic but clean room, comfortable bed, modern AC/heating unit on the wall. Snacks such as popcorn are put out in the lobby in the afternoon. I was astounded by the free breakfast, as good as it gets in this type of motel. Not just cereal and coffee. Hot oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, variety of teabags, bread, fresh fruit, pastries, juice. Several nearby eateries within walking distance & a convenience store across the street. The mini-fridge did not work but the clerk quickly put in a working one. Great attitude. Staff were all polite and accommodating. Masks are not currently required in SLO, but they should be.

This is not a fancy place. It is basic, but very nice and we would say on the high end of basic. The grounds are nice--lots of places to relax, including a wonderful tree swing. There is also a free breakfast. It is basically continental, but an expanded one. Not just toast and danish. There are hard-boiled eggs, hot oatmeal, and cinnamon rolls. The accommodations are very nice and the place is clean and spacious. We had not stayed for years, and it was just as nice as we remembered. It had continued to be maintained. It had not declined like a place nearby that used to be high end but now was just a sad shell of itself. The owner's of Peach Tree obviously take pride in what they do.

I arrived at the property after the specified check-in time and was able to check in immediately. I was struck initially by the bed linen which looked old and scratchy as well as the loud air conditioner. I thought the room would be okay and preceded to go for a shower. It immediately became apparent that there was no hot water coming to the room, and after phoning reception, I was informed that the hot water heaters hadn't been lit for my room and that i would need to move. The lady on reception seemed very very harrassed and at no point apologised for the inconvenience of having to move room. Once I'd moved however, the room was better with a sofa included. I felt that the room was quite dusty and that the blanket in the room was quite stained, but i slept moderately well. The breakfast was adequate. I think at $120 per night this motel is overpriced.…
