I practically live in hotels and fell in love with this place the minute I walked in the door. I booked it for 3 days for a girls trip with my mom and sister. Each of our rooms were different and all three were beautiful. My mothers room had a small fireplace in it. The place is a cool mix... More

We enjoyed our stay tat this charming boutique hotel in a terrific location in the center of town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing stopping me from the highest rating is the small size of the room. On our next visit we will request a larger room.

I am truly obsessed with this hotel. The location, style, service, price are all ideal. In the center of downtown SLO this hotel has everything. You can literally spend the whole weekend without leaving or walking further than a few blocks for a great vacation. It has old-school charm with modern amenities. A REAL key unlocks your room and homemade... More

Nicely done remodel, designer/contractor really optimized existing structure and space. Rooms are perfect for single travelers or close couple. Had several nice meals in the Bistro, menu is limited but good quality. Nice upstairs lounge and patio is perfect for gathering with friends for appetizers and cocktails. Staff is very well trained, friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The only... More

Picked the Granda for a weekend in SLO. The Granda is an older, restored hotel, so be aware that the ambiance is not shine and new, but rather older and well maintained. You might miss some amenities (like an elevator) but the restoration was done very well, fit and finish plus art and knickknacks are very well done. The room... More

The Granada Hotel & Bistro was a charming hotel in the center of SLO. It was perfectly located within a short walk from many restaurants, bars and cafes. Although there are only 17 rooms in the hotel, there are fewer than 17 parking spaces behind the property. Fortunately, we didn't have a problem getting a spot--but we didn't ask what... More

This experience was all around A+. The hotel is charming. Each of the rooms are different. The bed is comfortable. The bathrooms are modern. The hotel staff were very helpful. I cannot think of anything negative to say about this hotel. If you like large, chain hotels, this is not for you. If you prefer boutique hotels, I assure you... More

First - a big thank you to a wonderful guest host - Brent. He was so kind and helpful and he made our stay all that more pleasant. The hotel is beautiful. Unique and interesting. It is NOT a vanilla flavored Best Western sort of place. Granada has big flavor! The rooms are beautiful - the beds are comfy -... More

Great small hotel in the heart of town. Really quaint and the interior is wonderfully decorated with fine touches of detail. Reminded me of Paris. Great upstairs private terrace for the guests only with a lovely fireplace, you'd never know you were in the hub of a college town. Staff was really attentive and friendly. Breakfast on the terrace is... More

This is the only actual hotel in central SLO and as such has little competition, so it is fairly expensive for what you get - although the quality is good. Our room was very small, with the wash basin in the room and a separate compact toilet/shower (complete with a small viewing window!!). There was not much storage and hanging... More
