Very nice environs. The grounds and facilities are well kept and maintained. You make arrangements for a soak at the spa gift shop. At this time it was $15 per person for an hour. We selected the Rendezvous, which was up a long flight of stairs up the hillside. The tub looked out upon a oak woodland and the temperature...

This was our first time here and sadly our last. This resort was recommended to us as a go-to place for wine tasting in the Central Coast. Our sense was that in an earlier time the resort was great but it appears to have lost its touch. The grounds were in disarray and appeared neglected, the buildings needed updating and...

I'm sorry that we failed to meet your expectations. Just so you know, we've completely renovated our one-bedroom spa suites, and now we are in the process of renovating the standard mineral spring rooms. I made the decision to close the restaurant a bit early because of the very adverse conditions and the potential for road closures because of flooding....

We enjoy coming to Sycamore Springs every year. I have noticed some units are remodeled and very nice. This trip, we stayed in an older unit which needed a lot of TLC in bathrooms and kitchen. It was annoying to deal with noise from bathroom fans and neighbors unit fan noise all night. I would definitely comeback but I'd like...

Not bad at all. Was not busy in fact we felt like we were the only guests. Unit was very secluded and quite. And HUGE !! So great value there. Only issue. Our waiter/server did not understand a coupon we were given at check for dinner. He let us order something that was if no use for the coupon, thus...

Well, I'm very glad you had an enjoyable stay. I'm sorry about the coupon mistake, I'll get that clarified with the staff. But so pleased that you enjoyed your dinner. I hope you'll visit Sycamore soon. Thank you for your review.

Our favorite hotel. The Sycamore sulfur water hot springs are the absolute greatest. Very peaceful, quiet, and soothing. The Harmony building is the best. Can hardly wait for all the remodeling to be completed so we can return.

We are very happy that Sycamore is your "favorite hotel." I agree, the mineral spring hot tubs and water are amazing and so rejuvenating. As you know, the Harmony is being completely renovated now. We hope you'll return very soon.

We never stayed there but have used their mineral springs many times. The hot spring tubs are on the hills. They are nice and very relaxing. If you like mineral springs, you will like this place. This time we used their group OASIS WATERFALL pool. It is little bit more expensive but nice for big families.

I apologize that you were not happy. We did have a few issues with the hot tubs during these severe storms, but only with a few tubs. I'm surprised about the restaurant, we've had such stellar reviews. We appreciate you recognizing that we did offer compensation for the issues you had with the tub. Thank you for your review.

We had a wonderful couple's massage in the spa, also a great dinner in the restaurant. The wine list was very good, with many wines from local wineries. The grounds are beautiful. Service was pleasant and friendly. We like to go here for a short, romantic get-away. A very minor complaint--I wish the beds were queen sized instead of doubles.

I just told the spa director how much you enjoyed your couple massage and told the chef that you had a great dinner in the restaurant. I've been coming to Sycamore Mineral Springs for over 12 years now...have seen it filter through a series of new owners, each one making their own mark on what, was once a great property, with increasing disappointment each time I return -- A property that had been an incredible value, with charming, cozy rooms with plush robes, delicious products, and...

The property is close to the beach (couple miles, easy bike ride), and about 7 from SLO. It was quiet, and the staff was outstanding. The rooms were clean, and the restaurant was nice. About the only complaint I can make is that I wish the beds were queen-size instead of full.

The staff will be very pleased to know that your found them "amazing." We have full beds only in a few selected standard mineral springs rooms.
