I planned a surprise 40th Birthday Bash for my husband at the SLO Brew Lofts and my expectations were greatly exceeded! We rented out the whole floor for friends traveling from out of town and spent a majority of our time in the Carissa Club together, which is located in the middle of the floor. SLO Brew staff worked with me to cater breakfast one morning and food from the restaurant for a party of 60 people. We also brought in our own snacks/food and alcohol, and even ordered a keg from SLO Brew Rock. I felt like I was really catered to as the staff were all amazing with both pre-planning and throughout the weekend. Every loft is beautiful and the one wth the rooftop deck made the party that much better! There was so much to do at The Lofts alone with board games, poker chips, old record players and tvs, plus we were in the middle of downtown SLO, which made it easy to walk to food, stores, and ice cream at any point. We also took a morning trip to Avila to kayak and SUP. It was loud from DJ below between 11pm and maybe 1-2am, but since we were partying too, it really didn't stop us from sleeping. Earplugs were provided at each bedside table. I would definitely do it all over again and hope to soon! I highly recommend staying here, especially for large groups... best weekend ever! Thank you SLO Brew Lofts for a good time.

We had a great time staying in the Voyager Suite for a Bachelorette weekend. It is the perfect place for a group to all stay together with plenty of space to relax or cook meals. The design touches found in the art and sculptures throughout the property have an upscale eclectic vibe, and the rooms are nicely appointed with comfortable amenities. The location is perfect for walking to everything in downtown SLO, and of course it is directly above SLO Brew, so on the weekends don't plan to go to bed until 2 AM, because it is definitely loud upstairs!

Reservation made for 1 night, 2 adults on a Tuesday night. Dog friendly room. The lofts are located on the second floor, above SLO Brew( A Bar) off of Higuera St. Parking structure is off site about 2 blocks away. Our room did not have a view and that was okay with us. The lofts are in a great location. Within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, bars, and parks. It is very important for you to know prior to booking... NOISE is consistently till 0200. Then starts up again about 0800. Do not stay here if you will complain about noise because you are told about it prior to booking. Yes, good ear plugs will do the trick. The loft we stayed in was well designed and furnished. With exposed bricks and a record player with many records to choose from. (More located in the hallway) Full kitchen stocked with all amenities. A large dining table for 6. 1 queen bed and a sofa with a working fireplace. 2 TV screens for our viewing pleasure. Large bathroom with just a standing shower stall. Extra bedding included. We checked in about 1500 and checked out by 0900. The bed is pretty high for someone short like me but was very comfortable. I did sleep well after 0200. Just one complaint is that everytime we walked into our room, there was a strong odor coming from the shower drain. I would stay again!!

This suite really feels like an apartment, complete with kitchen, washer/dryer, and a private deck. It's spacious, well appointed, and very centrally located downtown. Parking is offsite, but you can walk almost everywhere anyway. For those with accessibility issues, this was hands-down the most ADA friendly room we've ever had. And the restaurant downstairs serves awesome burgers.

The Lofts do a great job overall when providing descriptive details on the website about these rooms. They’re really not kidding when they warn about weekend noise! We stayed in a 2 bedroom loft, the Vagabond, and my husband and I had the street side room. It wasn’t so much the party revelry noise that bothered us but the street cleaning noise in the early morning. The Lofts did think of everything when they set up these spaces - even down to the earplugs provided in the bedside table!!! Saturday morning was the worst of the noise, Sunday morning was quiet. I highly recommend using the earplugs! Beyond that slight inconvenience, the Lofts are fantastic! Nicely decorated, very comfortable with all the amenities you need. A great space for the weekend or longer. Plus you can’t beat the location. We would stay here again.
