I stayed at Hacienda de Leal because I had to work in Hollister. My reservations were made a day in advance and I feel the rate was good on such short notice. The staff was helpful and responsive with directions for the area. They helped me carry my bags to the second floor. I liked the decor and the niceties...

We had a lovely, spacious room with rustic, Mission-style furniture but also modern amenities like microwave, refrigerator--and an Illy espresso maker! The walkway outside the room overlooked a beautiful courtyard with lights in the trees. In the morning, there's a delicious, reasonably healthy complimentary breakfast--granola and yogurt, mini frittatas. Two caveats: first the floor in the room was tile, so...

We had a great overnight stay here. Simple, but charming and spacious bedroom and bath area. Breakfast was ok. Ask for a quiet room, as far from the nearby highway as possible. We did,and had no problem with noise others have mentioned. The walk to the small, downtown and Mission is easy. This is a convenient stop-over for visiting the...

this obviously is the nicest hotel in San Juan Bautista, with that said there isnt exactly alot of selection either. Room and hotel grounds were nice and clean, very courteous staff as well. The hotel had a nice courtyard and breakfast in the mornings. The rooms can be a bit loud (depending who is next door to you), seems like...

My wife and I stayed here as a base for visiting The Pinnacles. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Our King bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was above average except for the first morning when they ran out of the vegetarian pastry option. (We don't eat pork or beef.) Lots of luscious fresh berries. The staff is very friendly...

We attended a wedding in the area and this hotel was one of the places that was recommended. There was to be shuttle service to the wedding site so I made the reservation. My first attempt at a reservation got no answer and no return call from the hotel to my voice mail message. I called back a month later...

I would give it 5 stars except for the traffic noise. Friendly staff. Beautiful hacienda style renovation. Elegant and simple. Clean room and very comfortable bed. Breakfast in the courtyard was fresh and delicious.

This is a lovely hotel with lovely grounds. The room was very nice with a nice sitting area. However...there was very loud traffic noise until after 10 pm at night. We don't think any of the rooms are privy to blocking this noise. The continental breakfast was yummy. Also had a glass of Viognier wine from their sister vineyards: Leal...
