For a Hilton property, I was pretty under-impressed… they have 3 lobby elevators that are pretty unique in that it tells you which specific elevator to take. Sounds great, timesaving, and upgraded…but realistically… I timed from the moment I pushed the button to when the elevator came, 11 mins. Don’t be in a rush or waiting for a car, you’ll miss it! My room was ok, standard room but they took my fridge out that we asked for specifically. All rooms are to have fridges. Asked for another one, they said in two days they could provide one. Also, my AC. More like what AC? My temp was set at 60° and I bet them temperature never went below 74°. Also, if there’s a convention in town, best of luck to ya! It’s a mess! I will note a positive, the water pressure & temperature is outstanding! Great hotel shower! Add the steam from the shower to the 74° room and you’ll have a nice sauna in your room the whole day.…
I really enjoyed the San Jose Hilton. The rooms were really nice and very clean. It felt a little empty since it is connected to the convention center and at this time it is not open. The pool is also not available. We did have the breakfast included with our room which was a breakfast burrito and it was not that bad. As for amenities being closed just have to do with the times, we are in.
No service. No mini bar, no restaurant, no room cleaning, no clean towels, noisy, remoduling, very unfriendly staf. Very dirty and messy garage. Don't go here, you will be sorry. How can Hilton offer this hotel to Hilton loyal guests, for these prices and this total lack of facilities and services!!
Stayed here on a visit to San Jose. Close to Convention Center, so beware of what’s going on there. We stayed during a gamer convention with people being loud in the hallways and running up and down staircase all night long. Elevators are terribly slow and front desk less than kind or accommodating. Lobby is sparse with very little seating and breakfast is massively overpriced! Rooms are decent.
This Hotel was the worst experience in 20+ years of business travel as Honors Member. Notified Hilton of the poor experience, emailed the Hotel Manager, and called the Hotel Manager - NO RESPONSE". Poor service, construction noise, construction workers partying in the hallways until 11 PM at night. After this I have switch to favoring Marriott and so far have not been disappointed.
Loved the amenities, a smidge costly, however the beds were very comfortable. The night auditor checked us in and showed the kind of hospitality and kindness that all Hilton members should receive at any Hilton property. Thank you
We were not notified in advance of all of the construction at the hotel cashing most is the amenities to be closed. There were things left in the room that indicates it had not been thoroughly cleaned
Pool wasn’t clean. Hot tub was barely warm. $30 per night parking (insane) no microwave in the rooms. My fridge was barely cold enough to keep drinks cold. The hotel had renovations being done. Not worth it the price
Very friendly and attentive staff. Room is spacious and clean. Love the fact it’s connected to the convention center so attending the event there is hassle free. Road noice could be an issue if one is sound sensitive
I came to San Jose for my conference at the convention center. The hotel is connected to convention that took me only 2 minutes to walk over. It’s very clean, excellent service and very convenient location. I definitely will stay here again.
