This hotel is located in the heart of Santana Row. Very good location. Parking lot is one block away, which is not bad. Cozy and boutique hotel to stay for shopping and Sanata Row, but very noisy at night. You can hear people screaming at the street and next room. Attentive staff and decent wifi

Family and I are here now and booked 5 rooms to celebrate Christmas together. Called front desk yesterday and told the girl we would be arriving early 1-2pm, and we would be doing our gift exchange and asked where the best common area for us to do this was. She suggested the courtyard and said it had a tent and heaters due to the cold weather. Great! I told her we also were gonna take some group shots and had a friend coming to take some photos. She said the 7th floor terrace was closed. The restaurant was closed. But, again suggested the courtyard area for our photos. Great! Fast forward to today: They we’re setting up for a private event on said patio and we were told we could not sit out there. ???? I have 13 family members trudging through the lobby with Christmas gifts, newborn babies and elderly grandparents and no place to sit and do our gift exchange. No one can suggest any other areas for our group to use. I ask if we can sit on the 7th floor patio. Nope. We go up to the 5th floor pool and think we can use the tables and chairs up there. Nope. Our keys don’t work to get to the pool area. The nice front desk girl eventually showed us to the bar area but said it opened at 4 and we would have be out. We decide to do our gift exchange in our room, yes, all 13 of us. And then meet our friend to take a few pics. We were told we could use one little area of the patio to take pics. Mid way through pics, the manager (Juan) interrupts and says I needed to have a contract signed in order to have a photographer take our pics on site? I said he’s a friend of ours and we our guests here???? Just because he has a nice camera, he needs to sign a contract? He shuts us down from taking photos. We will never stay here again. The private party on the courtyard continued as we speak. Our room faces the courtyard so we had the pounding music and people talking via microphone making it impossible to sleep. We called front desk three times. Each time they said “we’ll fix it” but didn’t. They offered to move us at 11.30pm??!! How about if you have other guests in the rooms near the courtyard, don’t book a private party down there??? Also, if you are renting the only space in the hotel that the other guests can use to socialize in to a private party, maybe open up some of the other spaces (7th floor, restaurant, etc)? So, If you plan to stay in your room the whole time and don’t need any sleep, this place is for you. It’s now 1am and the music is still thumping. Hotel Valencia needs to get their sh#t together and work on customer service. We’ve stayed here in the past and have held business functions here. Not anymore. This was an awful experience.

Enjoyed our stay at Hotel Valencia. Rooms well equipped, appreciated the grab and go breakfast. Beds very comfortable. Lighting could be brighter in the rooms, and wifi was spotty. Would stay here again.

I can not believe I spent $375 to stay here for one night. It was awful. The room was beat up and the bathroom was nasty. The same dirty dishes were sitting in the hallway for over 24 hours. Additionally our room faced the road which was very noisy. We would have been way more comfortable in Hyatt Place or something like it. The woman at the front dest was also rude. A lot of these positive reviews must be fake.

Do not make a reservation on this hotel. I made a booking with Booking.com and sadly had to cancel it because of US borders closed. Cancellation was supposed to be free and was made 1 month before reservation date, but they still debit my credit card ! I tried to contact them but nobody take care to answer me. I will definitely never go to this hotel.
