Great hotel to stay at, especially if needing to catch an early flight. We really appreciated the desk clerk who greeted us with a big smile at 3 am and a perfect bagged breakfast. (sorry, we didn't get his name but he worked nights Sept. 26-27/23.) Comfy beds and the rooms were clean and well layed out.

There was poo on the floor. This is not a joke. Not long after checking in we saw, on the carpet near the lamp, two pieces of faeces. I presume it was from a dog although the property insists they don't allow pets. Reception moved us to another room. However, despite giving management 4 opportunities to apologise, acknowledge how disgusting this is and consider some kind of reimbursement, the best they've managed is "sorry for the inconvenience". They really don't care that this is a serious health violation, not just an inconvenience. I'm just shocked at how little they care about how disgusting this is. Their consideration for us as customers is non-existent, as is their attention to cleaning and hygiene. Regarding the room we were moved to, it felt stuffy and we couldn't open the window due to road noise and couldn't use the air conditioner as it was so loud. It felt dirty just being in the hotel and we had a poor rest. Thankfully we were up and out very early for our flight. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Do not stay here, there are plenty of other options near San Francisco airport.…

Great service, very clean. We requested an early check in, they were so accommodating. Best staff, they help with a smile. Keep up the great work. Also the front desk ladies grabbed us breakfast from the kitchen. Very nice ladies. They have a shuttle bus available free to the airport as well

I only had a one night stop over before travelling upto sonoma. Easy swift check in, large room and clean bathroom. The man on reception was a great help and as I was leaving early allowed me to grab some pastries before I left. Free coffee and tea 24 hours. All in all a pleasant stay

The boutique hotel was just perfect for our short stay in the San Francisco area. Conveniently located, reasonably priced, excellent service. They offer a complimentary breakfast with several choices to choose from. Amenities and attention to detail is evident making the stay a pleasure.

The elevator was out of order. I had paid to have an early checkin because I was coming from Japan and was very tired after a long flight. I had to wait a long time before someone came to get my luggage and take it to my room. I was so disappointed and exhausted.Hotel 1550. The shuttle was okay from the airport to the hotel. However, the shuttle from the airport was terrible. I had to turn in my car rental. I waited from 8:00 a.m. to catch the 8:20 which never came. Then I waited another hour for the 9:20 a.m. which also never came. I ended up taking public transportation and walked to the hotel. Very disappointed. Also when I tried to check in after coming from Tokyo, Japan, the elevator was broken so I couldn't check in with my 3 heavy suitcases. I was so exhausted and wanted to relax.Finally the suitcases were brought up. The elevator didn't get fixed until after 5 or 6:00 p.m. I was very disappointed. Fix the elevator sooner and make the shuttle more dependable. They also absolutely need more carts. I wanted to get a cart because I was checking in very early the next morning and the front desk said I couldn't keep the cart overnight because they had 19 more guest. This was after 9:00 p.m. What the heck! I understand that they were fully booked but how can they expect to have that many guest and not have enough luggage carts?…

Excellent bed and a sizeable room, what more do you need after travelling for hours. The breakfast provided is an added bonus. Cheese omelette, hot or cold cereal, toast, coffee, tea, juice gives a good start. Some airport noice in the morning and if you are on the lower floors , just hope the people above you don't need to take off 3 am to catch an early flight. The shuttle is helpful if it shows up. Very quickly once for me, the other time I waited over an hour. The schedule provided from the hotel does not seem to be working.

The Hotel 1550 exceeded my expectations. It is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is attentive and courteous. They offer an airport shuttle, however, the shuttle actually serves several hotels so give yourself enough time so as not to be pressed for time while clearing security.

1 night stay for early flight out of SFO. Great location with easy parking. Quiet. Clean and modern room with large bathroom. Very friendly helpful staff. We left too early so we didn't have breakfast. Will stay again when travelling through SFO.

a very good place near the airport , with courtesy navette form to the airport. very good room with all it is needed . Staff very gentle and right breakfast. Nearby proper numbers of eateries / restaurants open even late
