DONT STAY HERE, THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT WHEN THEY SAY THEY WONT! THIEFS! During this pandemic! I had money taken out of my account that was not supposed to leave my account according to them! Both in person and on the phone! I was told it would be back in my account in 72 hrs. LIES! I am now having continuous overdrafts cause of this one f... issue and they refused to fix it. It’s their issue not mine, I don’t need explanations,I need my MONEY, THAT I WORKED HARD FOR! My rent is backed cause of the issue on my account. I only noticed my money gone cause I checked my account that night, they wouldn’t have even told me!!! AGAIN! THIEFS AND LIARS! If you have money that you don’t care about, by all means go here. They also wanted a 100 dollar deposit, aside from withholding my money ?! They have the game completely messed up.…
I have over 2000 nights of business travel in my career (mostly at Marriott properties), however, I had a reservation tonight 7/14/20 and they would not honor the reservation UNLESS I handed over a $100 cash deposit????!!!!! I have never, ever, ever been asked to give a cash deposit at a hotel. What, am I supposed to go back in the morning and ask for my cash back? Was the employee trying to steal from me or is this property such a low budget operation that their clients are ok trusting handing over cash to random employees? I have called and sent a DM to Wyndam Rewards to lodge formal complaints.
I wouldn't say this property is a bad one but needs to be upgraded. It needs to be very clear on the website that there is a $100 cash deposit. It never showed it to me and would have been inconvenienced; especially during the time of COVID 19 to find a place with a ATM. The staff was nice and friendly and my room was clean; however, the place could use a face lift. I usually stay in Ontario and plan to do so next time. The advertised "breakfast" was 2 cereal options of Fruit Loops and cheerios I think, yogurt, coffee, and muffins.
Arrived at Days Inn San Bernadino on a stop off from Arizona to Malibu wanting an easy rest for the night. Upon entering, I was checked in promptly but debited $100 for a "security deposit".... which is $28 more than what I paid for the entire stay. This was not made clear at the time of booking and came as a surprise. I was given room 225, which is upstairs. Upon entering the room, it was unbelievably hot (94 degrees), and the sound of constant running water. I went into the bathroom to find the shower would not shut off, and a towel was shoved on the drain. Firstly, I tried to power up the air conditioning to bring the room to a comfortable temperature. I set the thermostat to the lowest it would go, 60 degrees.... Unfortunately, the A/C unit would switch on and off inconsistently and the room remained between 75 and 78 all night. Elsewhere in the room, the carpet was stained heavily, the walls were damaged with pen marks, peeling wallpaper. The furniture was heavily scratched/damaged and in poor condition. The bed was very worn and tired, but luckily the bedding was clean. I tried to change rooms, however, was advised the hotel was fully booked and changing rooms is not a possibility and no member of staff came to fix the leaking faucet, so it was left pouring for the entire trip. I mentioned it again on check out, and was told it was going to be sorted.…
