Unusual and fun one night stay at this little gem. Arrived quite late after a long drive, quick no fuss check in, parked next to our teepee which was surprisingly good size, clean and tidy, shower worked fine, and the hotel has a nice little swimming pool so we were able to have a lovely refreshing swim. The surrounding area... More

WigWam is a Motel you have to visit for minimum one time in your live. A great experience. We've been here the first time and we're looking forward for the next visit. The guy at front desk (i think it was the owner) is a cool guy. Complete facility was well maintained. Romms are clean and renovated. Only the bathroom... More

It's a fun setting, a nostalgic throwback to the 50's road trip era. The rooms are small and modest, not fancy. My room was clean, however my travel partner's room had the very distinct aroma of marijuana. I wasn't bothered by noise from anyone, even though it was a full house that night, however I had to use the window... More

The owner of this historic establishment, Kumar Patel is a very strange individual.....upon our arrival we told him we had just travelled from Vegas....his response was 'oh you're supporting the corporate bubble'. Strange response but it got worse. When we booked our wigwam back in October 2015 we were told it would accommodate our family of 5 and that they... More

I remember seeing this sort of place all over the West when I was a kid and always wanted to stay in one. Finally got the chance when we found it almost by chance late one night when passing through the area. The grounds are very neat, spacious and contain a few old relics to add interest. There is a... I have always wanted to stay at a Wigwam Motel on Route 66 and we finally got the chance to head to San Bernardino to stay in this one. We got to the hotel later than I would have liked, so we really didn't get to scope out the area much before it go dark. We had stayed at the... More

Friendly staff. Room was clean. Wifi good. The old place is well looked after. Gardens and lawns well kept. The swimming pool was great as we were in it for 1hr + Bedding smelled good and bathroom clean. If you doing 66, this is a must stop. The dinner at the old diner down the road was good.

We have stayed in many motels during our Route 66 road trip and this was the perfect final stopover before we hit Santa Monica. The wigwam was clean, with plenty of room for the bed and a two seater sofa. We arrived early and the owner very kindly allowed us to check in. The site is kept very clean and... More

I have always wanted to stay at this place because of it's history. I was not disappointed with the room or amenities, in fact the room was actually pretty clean and cozy!!! The property was clean and clearly maintained as well. My only problem was with the management/owner of this historical landmark!!! Now in my experience when running a business... More

Have wanted to stay in a tee pee motel after seeing the one in Arizona. Finally convinced a couple collegues to join me while on a business trip. Knew ahead of time it was in a poor and busy part of town. But once on the property facing away from the street, it was great. Sat by the pool in... More
