Those days are still here-at the Wigwam Motel! Originally constructed in 1949, this is the 7th and final Wigwam location in the series of similar properties first launched in by developer Frank Redford in his home state of Kentucky. Situated on famed Route 66, the most famous highway of all, the Wigwam Motel is in the true American tradition of the "Roadside Attraction," just like the giant dinosaurs, villages of mystery and other classic roadside attractions that lined America's highways of the past. The Wigwam Motel is a real slice of Americana, bringing back the heyday of our glorious American past.

Very nicely appointed Route 66 Motor Lodge. Innkeepers are very nice and responsive to your needs.. Rooms are clean and fun. Pool was open. Nice souvenirs available in the lobby. Parking is next to your wigwam. We will stay again when in the area.

A super overnight stay. The pool was lovely and the grounds clean and well maintained. Our Wigwam was very comfortable, we particularly liked the sofa and TV area, a nice touch. Coffee and Tea were available from 7am in the morning free of charge. There was a small supermarket across the road for any provisions. Staff were very helpful.

Wonderful experience in a very friendly and safe environment. Wigwam was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable and grounds were immaculate with beautiful landscaping and flowers. Climate controlled room plenty of headspace! Great staff!

Iconic motel bordering a rough neighborhood. $174 for a Saturday night seemed excessive. The room was clean and functional. The grounds near the pool were very nice, but the rear of the motel is blighted by modern junk vehicles. The package liquor store across the road draws locals cutting across the motel property. It felt very sketchy.

small rooms ,but you are staying in a TeePee. Grounds are kept nicely and rooms are clean. Staff is very friendly and willing to give you time. Never rushed. Not much to do in the area, so plan a trip with knowledge of activities for you to do. Its a must stay, its original History of Route 66.

I knew we had to stay at this place after seeing the photos of the Wigwams and stayed one night whilst driving from LAX to Las Vegas. We were a late arrival after delays with our flight but we phoned ahead and this was no problem. The rooms are basic but comfortable. Good wifi and quiet. There's no restaurant on site but the website recommends several places nearby which we used and were happy with their recommendations.

So cool! Inside was way bigger than we expected. The interior has been updated somewhat but hasn’t lost the charm of the original decor. The wigwam’ and grounds were immaculate. A Comfy, cozy and the perfect place to stay on a Rte 66 road trip.

We had the best little getaway at the San Bernardino Wigwam Motel! It was a lot of fun to stay in this historic place, and it's so nicely cared for. The room was really comfortable and clean, and the staff super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
