Very charming and cozy little place. The room was super clean, spacious and had ample amenities and a nice balcony . I was also able to work with reliable wifi & good workspace. Pool, jacuzzi, breakfast were great +++.s the front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful. I will certainly be back again.

I have been to this motel 5 times and have recommended to many others. Very, very disappointed this time. Chain smokers in pool area ruined experience. Asked staff to help and no help provided. Disgusting experience. They need to post on website and around property if and where smoking is allowed. Beware.

Room was 85 when we walked in. Ac cranked and just blowing tepid air. Called front desk and he insists ac is blowing cold yet room is still 82 degrees. This is crazy in my opinion. How am I suppose to sleep in 80+ degree temps.

The motel is a Clean Art Deco simple accommodation with a great location and a wonderful pool. Offer a nice complementary breakfast. Parking is right in front of your room with ice machines handy.

Stayed here for 3 days while checking out Vineyards in Napa Valley, we felt this was the best place to stay. Staff very responsive, firepit was perfect sitting area. We will come back when we return to Napa Valley.

Lovely older motel that is well maintained. We stayed her one night with another couple. Rooms were immaculate. Nice towels. Bed was too soft. Very hot water so be careful in the shower. The queen rooms facing the pool were smaller than the king and the latter had a balcony/patio. Breakfast was minimal. Friendly staff. This is the third time my husband has stayed here. Good value for Napa Valley.

Convenient to wineries in St. Helena area. Had a kitchen area but no stove. Small fridge, microwave and coffee in the room. Had free breakfast. Pool and hot tub was opened until 11am. Rebecca was really nice at the front desk.

What a find! Stayed here because every place else in Napa was crazy expensive and we recently had a very poor stay at the “luxury” Napa River Inn. El Bonita was amazing!!! Walking distance to multiple wineries (loved V Sattui). Walking distance to our dinner (at Press). Enjoyed the Pool, hot tub, and sauna. Room was large with a great backyard space for our dog. Found our new go to hotel in the Napa area! Downside - could hear the people above us a little. Next time will ask for a room in one of the one story buildings. We paid extra for the deluxe rooms, but our travel companions who didn’t do that also loved their stays. Also had good wifi for working!

This place was surprisingly nice! Very clean, recently renovated. Reasonably priced compared to the area and definitely a hidden gem and well worth every penny. It's a great location and easy access to the area wineries

We are remodeling our home in Yountville and needed a clean quiet place to stay for a couple of nights. El Bonita (shouldn't that be El Bonito haha?) had some of the best prices in the valley and we have always admired its retro decor / 50's vibe while driving down 29. Check in was smooth and easy - our room was available and freshly cleaned. The cleaners were all over the property with big smiles and seemed to take pride in their work. Our room was spotless and the bathroom smelled strongly of bleach - just the smell I want when a bathroom has been freshly cleaned. The exhaust fan dispensed with the smell quickly. Speaking of smells, they use air freshener on the rooms like so many hotels do... I wish this trend would end. I just want to smell soap / clean not air freshener. The room is clean and there's nothing to mask with air freshener. Front desk very friendly and NOT drunk so I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about. Full ice machines on the property even though they were at 100% capacity. Easy parking in the shade. We did not use the pool but appreciated that the AC in our room kept it at 68 degrees while outside it was 102. Nice mini-frig with freezer that worked well. Also appreciated the Keurig coffee maker and the wine glasses provided for use and available for purchase. Our room had a nice balcony which overlooked greenery and a very powerful shower. We travel the world and often stay at high-end resorts. Yes, I could nitpick and find things - this is a motel and is not perfect. But you do get a sense there is pride of place with a happy staff and again it's very clean and very quiet, my two main requirements in a place to stay for a night or two. If a scuffed baseboard or lack of blow dryer or foam pillows bother you then spend $1200 a night and stay in Yountville. Our remodel will continue and we will need another hotel for a stay up here and I won't hesitate to book El Bonita again.…
