This is a 1950s Motor Lodge that's been completely redone. We chose to stay in one of the garden rooms in the back. Your means of access in and out is through a sliding glass door however there is a good lock on the door. The room was very comfortable the beds were very comfortable and we felt it was...

The room size was pretty good but the carpets just felt super grimy so bring some slippers or something. The room we had could not get any wifi and 3 days without it really sucked. I'm not sure If I would stay there again.

The room was neat and exceptionally quiet. However the coffee machine did not work in the morning. The continental breakfast was mediocre. Coffee could have been stronger. Pastries were below average. The computer and printer were of very mediocre quality and we were not able to print boarding passes.

I dislike chains so anytime I can find a retro court, I am all in. El Bonita is clean, conveniently located to the wineries we had appointments with, and our stay was very pleasant. Beds are comfy and it was quiet even though it is on the main hwy. through Napa Valley. There is a nice pool/hot tub and the...

This is a clean, centrally located motel room in Napa Valley. When you want something quick and easy, and don't want to hassle with a B&B, this is the place to go. There is nothing interesting or romantic. We had a clean king bed and a very used but funcitonal carpet with religious tapestries on the walls (see photo). I...

We finally decided to stay at the "El Bo" as the locals call it. We come to the valley at least twice per year and when we would drive by we'd always say that one day we would book in here. Well, we did! At a time of year when the other hotels are literally gouging customers at $600 per...

This was the only hotel accommodation that could be found by my hosts when I recently traveled to the Napa Valley to do some education. I was literally terrified about this place after reading some of the reviews but it turned out to be okay. The room was large but really rudimentary in all things - bed, bathroom etc. We...

My wife and I had stayed in Calistoga and Napa on our last visits to Napa Valley but wanted a reasonably priced (nothing is inexpensive in Napa Valley) in or near St. Helena. The El Bonita is about 1/2 a mile south of the center of St. Helena, the price was right, so we booked for two nights. We were...

This motel has a great retro feel. You can pull right up to your door and there's nice picnic area if you want to get take out or bring your own food. There are tiny kitchenettes in the rooms. The included breakfast was good. Cereal, fruit, oatmeal, coffee and pastries are available. The room itself was unremarkable but big!
