This is one of the better appointed Westins (great bathroom with an "antique" tub, nice pool and spa, etc.), nestled by the river (appreciate the view). I was there just for one night, but everything was OK. Only slight annoyance was that breakfast was in a restaurant that is not managed by the hotel. First, there is no buffet for...

Hello Chimata-no-kami, Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you were not told your benefits at check-in. I will make sure to review our check-in procedures with the staff, and to always let SPG members know what their benefits are at our hotel. Stayed here with my husband for our company Holiday party. The staff was amazing, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the location was fantastic! Views of the water and close to local attractions. They have Scott's Seafood restaurant located on the premises as well. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly! Highly recommend for business or pleasure. They are also dog friendly!

We needed a place to stay with our dog on a road trip from Oregon to California, that was a step up from our previous stay at a Motel 6. What an absolute pleasant surprise this Westin was! Truly one of the most beautiful and friendly hotels I have stayed at in a long time. What we loved: It is...

This is our go-to place when visiting relatives in Sacramento. From the minute we walk in, the "White Tea" fragrance is so inviting. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Rooms are always clean and the CLAW FOOT tub is amazing as are the bathrobes. Although this time it was only a one-night stay, we always look forward to staying here.

Loved the hotel, staff and amenities. Right off the Sacramento river. I traveled with my Mother for her 70th birthday. She can be difficult and the staff was excellent. In particular Melinda at the front desk and Brian and Lajay on the shuttle.

My husband and I stayed at the Westin Hotel in Sacramento for the first time over the Thanksgiving holiday. It has a nice location on the Sacramento River. We were on the third floor. For the best river view get a room on the south end of the building otherwise you have a partial view of the parking lot. Staff...

We stayed here one night in September to celebrate our wedding anniversary with friends. It’s truly a hidden gem! Pros: • Scott’s Seafood restaurant • Beautiful location by the river • Lush gardens with white roses • Fire pits and colorful adirondack chairs • Pool and hot tub • Nice, relaxing White Tea scent throughout the whole hotel • Good...

The hotel is nice but not good for weddings or a day at the spa but for business travelers its not the ideal location. Not close to anything, is nestled back on the pier, parking is ridiculous! Too far off from everything.

And then at midnight, guests checked in above me and woke me up. Of course, this sort of thing is not the hotel's fault, but being awakened from a deep sleep is not the sort of thing that makes you want to return to a hotel. The staff was otherwise nice and well meaning, and the hotel itself seemed well...

I picked The Westin Sacramento based on it's location: south of downtown, on the Sacramento River, and Scott's Seafood on site. This hotel lived up to my expectations. The room was clean, yet nothing extraordinary. The room had the regular amenities; Wi-Fi, coffee pot, flat screen TV, storage space, and so on. The room had a clawfoot bathtub. My room...
