I agree with Robert V. Unlike some others, i thought the hotel was very clean; may depend on the housekeeper. The area is dicey. You're ok when it's light out, but since I'm a contractor and from the Eastern time zone, I just stayed on East Coast time. so I was up at 4am and in bed by 9pm. I... More

My niece and I take a ladies only road trip every year. This year she did the planning and chose this hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable, as were all the public rooms that we saw. The AC in our room worked like a champ. Anyone familiar w/Sacramento knows the temps can be in the triple digits for... More

We stayed here because of all the great reviews but unfortunately didn't have the same experience it seems most others did. The first room they gave us smelled strongly of pot. I called the front desk and they sent the maintenance man down to verify. He came down, called the front desk to let them know we were telling the... More

Dear Row 33, We are very sorry about your recent stay with us and that we did not meet, let alone, exceed your expectations. I will be meeting with our staff to discuss what happened and how we can prevent this from happening again. We take great pride in serving our guests; keeping our property smoke free is one of... The front and inside of the hotel are nice. The staff was very nice and the room was clean. The parking lot is large and there was plenty of open space for parking. The only downside is that the area is a little run down and the only food that is within walking distance is a McDonald's and a Denny's.... More

For starters, I recommend this hotel. We stayed with them driving to San Diego from Washington state, and then again on our way back. The facilities may be a bit dated, but I value CLEAN, and this hotel is just that. It is low priced, and it is very apparent that this hotel is valued by the staff. They are... More

Dear JAMartin66, We are so happy to have helped reunite your son with the stuffed animals that were accidentally left behind at our hotel. Most of our staff have children, so as moms and dads we certainly share in the precious stuffed animals and other items our children attach themselves to. We are glad we were able to find and... The hotel is easy to get in and out of and has good amenities. The price is reasonable and the stay was very pleasant. Every employee with whom we interacted was friendly and helpful. This is a good hotel if you need a place to stay but don't need or want a "resort" experience and the attending costs of said... More

If you're just looking for a place to sleep and need an average motel at a good price, this will fit the bill. The interiors are dated and feel like you're walking into a nursing home, and the room we stayed in had a window but was still dark. The location is also a little farther from downtown so you'll... Great little gem close to I5, clean, well maintained, good price...but sketchy area as lots of homeless wandering around. However, hotel does fantastic job of keeping grounds & hotel safe from intruders. Good place to have a "base camp" while exploring downtown Sac, & easy on & off freeway location as well. Definitely one of my first choices when visiting... More

We decided to stay here after reading other reviews on TA, and because it looked like the hotel had close access to the bike path along the American and Sacramento Rivers. My husband is in good condition and commutes with his bike, me not so much, but I do enjoy an easy ride now and then. This hotel was so... More
