I was welcomed by a very friendly & helpful front desk clerk named Yvette. I had forgotten to print my Best Western gift card & she assisted me in using their computer for guest use to get it printed. I was a little stressed; I was preparing to take a really difficult state exam the next day and her extra care & service was just what I needed!!! Our room was very comfortable and spacious with a beautiful view of the pool & courtyard. Got a great night's sleep in a comfy bed!!! We really appreciated the secure parking garage in this homeless overrun area of Sacramento.
Very pleased with the hotel. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was very clean. Convenient location and free parking is a plus! Did not use the pool or fitness center so I cannot comment on those. We did not get a nice hot breakfast due to COVID, but got a “grab and go” breakfast bag. Absolutely no complaints.
The hotel itself is in a sketchy location however it’s centralized around tons of stuff to do. The room was cozy. The bed was comfortable. My only issue was the African American FDA who growled, snarled, cussed at my boyfriend and was over all extremely unprofessional. There was a homeless man blocking us in our car out in the parking lot and she locked us out and told us to stay locked in our car until he left. We will not stay here again even though we enjoyed our room. This agent worked either a 24 hour shift on Oct 30-31 or multiple shifts between 3pm Oct 30 and 12pm Oct 31, 2020. The other agent at 3pm on Oct 30 who helped us check in while the unprofessional agent clocked in (unmasked) was super friendly and gave us good recommendations. We stayed in room 107.
A++++ for the staff at this hotel. Both ladies at the front desk were so friendly! Very clean room and property. Disappointed the pool wasn't open and feel that should be listed on the website when booking. No hot breakfast due to Covid so we got a bagged breakfast which was disappointing. Didn't see any options for room service either (looked like the adjoining restaurant was closed). I feel like the rooms should be cheaper when no amenities are provided. Nice location and it was pretty quiet.
This was my first stay in Sacramento. The room was well stocked, clean nice towels, and the basic supplies you get so you won't stink! If you are passing through Sac or just need to stay at a place nearby this is safe and clean. Since this is in the middle of the Pandemic you will need to go out and grab some food, if you are a PIzza snob go to Rock Pizza its walking distance, but be prepared to at least pay $45 for Pizza, salad, garlic bread and coke (SODA!)
