Hidden gem, worth every penny. Quiet, secure, charming, inviting. Walking distance to museums, old town, Capitol, great neighborhood pubs and restaurants. Didn't move our car the whole trip! Enjoy the breakfast chatting with the staff too!

This was a last minute reservation that turned out to be a wonderful experience. The reservation was made and confirmed online. I was met at the door by friendly staff, walked through the shared living room complete with a small self-serve bar for happy hour and lovely dining room. Information about spa services and hotel amenities were provided before I... More

Awesome location close to old town, outdoor markets and restaurants. Idealic for honeymoons anniversaries, weekend getaways and family reunions. Rooms are decorated in period style antiques, lovely bedding and comfortable beds. We cannot wait to return.

The room was comfortable, the breakfast was great, the staff were helpful. Nearly everything was perfect. The bed frame did protrude at the foot of the bed, leading to a toe or two taking a hit, and the balcony door shade was a small issue as well, but those are the only two minor complaints for an otherwise perfect stay.

We stayed for two days. Let me have early check in. The room was perfect. The house is just special. Clean and just right for us. A short walk to the downtown area. Breakfast was special by a nice chef who made accommodations for our morning meal. We will stay again.

My husband and I stayed at Parkside Inn for two honeymoon nights, upon his request that we book a place with a hot tub in the room. The Jacuzzi and giant shower were fantastic, both were very clean, and we loved them immensely! The room was furnished comfortably, with all the creature comforts necessary to a proper stay, and the... More

Perfect alternative to a faceless chain hotel . Every detail was perfect and the room was extremely comfortable . The free drink and honesty bar were a surprise treat and the breakfast was absolutely delicious .

This was our last night of vacation with good friends from the Sacramento area. Our suite (the Kiss Spa), and their suite(Tranquility), were spacious. Located on the 2nd floor, the steps are easily manageable. FYI,There is a 3rd floor in both buildings, so more steps.

I absolutely loved this hotel. Granted, it was a little pricey, but well worth it. We chose a room with a large bath tub, which was perfect for my bath soaker husband. The room was clean and comfortable. I loved the little patio and bar area of the inn. A great place to just chill. The hotel was located in... More
